[Rikito vs. Bills]
Bills was crippled, but Rikito’s relief was short-lived.
“Dark Demolition Cannon!” Rikito blasted the shadow soldier, but the blow did little. It didn’t even dodge — simply regenerated.
“Damn. Not big enough to erase you, huh? Fine, then take this!”
He unleashed a barrage of aether blasts, but the shadow absorbed them and stayed silent, waiting.
Dammit. There’s no value in fighting this thing… I’ll just finish off the general and go help Asuka.
“Say goodbye, Bills. Dark Demolition Cannon!”
But the shadow surged forward, wrapping itself around Bills.
“What the hell—?”
The two merged, Bills’ hulking frame warping as tendrils of living shadow seeped into his skin.
His eyes turned pitch black, extra shadow?limbs sprouting from his back as his aura became a writhing storm of darkness.

Asuka’s newfound power burned brightly — but briefly.
“Ha!” She struck with ferocity, forcing Julie back.
I have to end this now!
“Crystal Wave!”
She fired a beam of purplish-white energy, but Julie Aether-Skipped and reappeared behind her, delivering a brutal blow.
“Ugh!”
Julie smirked. “You might be stronger, but your speed hasn’t increased. You can barely keep up. Soon, that boost will fade — and then I’ll absorb you.”
“N-no way. I’m not giving up! Akira and my brother are counting on me. I’m going to win!”
Julie sighed, her smirk widening. “They always want the hard way… fine. I’ll peel that strength from your bones and make it mine.”
Her mastered Demon Form flared, and the air grew cold.
[Akira vs. Grimm]
Akira and Grimm traded blow for blow, neither slowing.
Grimm sank into the shadows, looking for an opening.
“Hmph. I’ve already found a way to counter that!”
Akira flared with blinding light, his Enhanced State aura radiating calm but overwhelming pressure, illuminating the entire village in white.
“Ahhh!” Grimm’s shadows dissolved under the sheer presence.
“Damn you! This can’t be… I’m a General! You’re just a dirty child!”
“That’s where you’re wrong.”
Akira’s aura calmed. His white energy steadied as he floated back down, expression firm.
“This has gone on long enough. Let’s end this quickly.”
Grimm growled. Flustered, his defenses faltered.
“You’re just lucky I don’t have my shadow soldiers! Then I’d show you my true strength!”
Akira didn’t flinch.
[Rikito vs. Bills]
The fusion finished. Bills’ energy skyrocketed.
What the hell am I supposed to do against that?
Rikito glanced toward the village.
There’s a lot of aether gathered around there.
He turned toward Asuka’s fading energy signature.
“…”
His jaw tightened.
“Why can’t I do anything!?” Rikito slammed a fist into the ground, his aura roaring to life like a furnace.
“I won’t let you beat me! I’ll tear you apart, and save my sister — no matter what!”
He roared into Demon Form Level Two, rage amplifying his strength even further as his skin turned into an even darker brownish gray.
In a blur, he blitzed the fusion, pummeling it with devastating blows before charging one final attack.
“Hrm…” Bills grunted. All his wounds were healing.
Damn. Seems this shadow’s shared its healing ability with him. Now, not only is he incredibly durable, but he can recover too!
“Then I’ll just have to hit you with something so strong that you won’t even have the chance to recover! This will be the biggest one yet— SUPER DARK DEMOLITION CANNON!”
The beam erupted, tearing through the battlefield toward Shadow Bills.
