Chapter- 38 (Endless Slaughter And The Monsters Wrath)

Mark reappeared from the shadow and looked towards the lake. No fishes, no body, nothing was left beside the red blood, which was also slowly getting dissipated.

But he didn’t care; he had already gotten what he wanted from the fishes. What he wanted next was endless strength.

Strength enough to kill Blake, cuz of all the people, he was the one looming over his head like a death plague.

Until he killed Blake, nothing he would do here would change anything. No matter how many people he killed, no matter how many monsters he killed, nothing would change.

But as long as he got enough strength points, he was sure as hell that he would be able to destroy him, and his sixth sense was telling him that by screaming each and every second.

So without wasting any time, he jumped from the tree in the middle of the field and put both of his hands on the field.

After he killed the ants, the other ants didn’t leave the island. Forget leaving the island, they didn’t even leave the place; they just hid inside the land, cuz that was the element they mastered at.

But what they forgot was that he mastered the darkness. Where they hid was his home, and there he was the king, and they were nothing but his subjects.

So, in the next second, with all his power, Mark drilled the power of his shadow inside the land.

Like a snake, shadows upon shadows went from his hand, and they kept going. There were close to thirty such shadows, and the moment they found their targets, they drilled.

The ants didn't even had the time to understand what had happened before their bodies were drilled.

It wasn't wood, or some element that they could feel had drilled the land; it was shadow, omnipotent and omnipresent. How would they know and defend against something like that?

The next second, the screams erupted, the endless screams, the endless horror.

Like endless snakes, the shadows kept going from one place to another, drilling the ants, slithering them from within, and no amount of soil could help them shelter their bodies, cuz shadow ignored their elements as if nothing but a sheet.

[Killer gift activated, permanently stealing 0.1*47 Strength Stat.]

Furious, all the ants roared as they tore through the land itself and roared upward where Mark was.

If you stumble upon this narrative on Amazon, it's taken without the author's consent. Report it.

There must be thousands upon thousands of them. No, their numbers each second only increased.

It was like there was an endless hole from where they were coming. They were directly coming from below the land.

From the place where there was nothing that could be seen, and no one could really reach.

Even Mark was left stunned as he saw the scene, and without caring about killing and all, he grew the pair of charred black shadowy wings and swung them to fly towards the sky.

And he flew, yes, he flew, even making himself amazed, as the thought of flying just came to him subconsciously; he wasn't even aware he could do something like that.

As the next moment, he pulled his gun out, the same gun that had slaughtered these upcoming ants like a worthless sack of garbage.

  RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA…….

  CAWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW………

  AWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO………

But the moment ants came out, it wasn't just them who howled; the entire forest howled.

All the monsters started howling. The green crows started cawing. The Bloody Wolves started howling. The monkeys started growling. The trees started shaking and crying. The Bloody mice started jumping up and down. The Camouflage snakes started reappearing.

And they all started roaring and cawing towards Mark, and running, flying, and jumping towards him, as if he were their only target.

Seeing all this, Mark was left stunned. No matter where he saw, he saw monsters.

When suddenly, he heard a voice ringing in the entire forest "Flying is not prohibited, but it can have dire consequences. If monsters thought that you are leaving the island, they can lose their minds, cuz their duty is to make sure that none can leave the island, unless only one remains alive.”

And the moment Mark heard the voice, he knew who this person was. He was the same person who was sitting on everyone's head, in the sky, making all this happen like a god.

So without wasting any time and caring about the monsters, Mark flew towards the lake, letting his gun roar towards the ants and the flying crows, as in no time he dived into the lake, where only fishes could attack him, and then turned into a shadow, so that even they couldn't do anything to him.

And the next second, everything stopped. The roars, the growls, the cawing sounds, the grring sounds. It all just stopped.

The monsters glared at him from the top, at his shadow, looming and waiting for him to reappear.

In the sky, thousands of crows circled, making the sunlight disappear, while below, the fishes circled him like a predator, from both corners of the land, ants and monkeys waited to prey upon him, while the snakes slithered by them to stare at him.

These were the same monsters he had slaughtered left and right, made the mess of them, but now they were all challenging him, not even caring about their lives.

Not caring that he could still possess guns, and even bombs, he was sure that they must’ve seen by now the types of weapons humans carried with them.

But no, there was no previous fear that could be seen in them before, only anger, and an endless anger.

But who was he to care about the monster's anger, as the next second he disappeared into the darkness and started running towards another island, but as if all the monsters could see him, they all started running and flying towards where he was going.

If he stopped, they stopped. If he ran, they ran. They were like pests leeching onto him, not leaving him even for a second, making him go nuts with anger.

Cuz every second he wasted here without killing, Blake would only become stronger, and the stronger he became, the more difficult it would be to kill him.
