But who could tell all these things to these furious monsters? In the end, Mark had to stop and stay in one place to save his energy.
Cuz if he lost his energy, he would lose everything, and just like that, the time started passing.
Mark persisting, monsters waiting.
Five minutes, ten minutes, half an hour passed. The number of people who were getting killed kept decreasing with time.
From 287, the number became 202, but the monsters didn't leave. It was as if, until they saw him dead, they just wouldn't leave, and it only made him want to slaughter all of them.
But then something strange happened, the moment an hour passed. It was as if someone had pressed some kind of button, making all the monsters glare at him for the one last time and then slowly disappear back to where they had all come from.
The ants, the crows, the snakes, the monkeys, even the fishes, they all just left, just like that.
The sunlight came back, the ground became clear, the water became free of fishes, and everything went back to its place as if nothing had happened.
But everything did happen, and it happened to him, because of him, because of that guy.
Looking at the sky, Mark glared at the man in the sky. If this motherfucker had told him not to fly in the beginning, he wouldn't have flown and gotten into such big trouble.
And as if noticing his glare, the man in the sky smiled, and a voice came in his ear which only he and no one else could hear, "There are more than fifty thousand green crows and a hundred thousand plus flying ants in this jungle, only a moron would dare to fly. But hey, I forgot considering you in the midst. Apologies, Mr. Moron."
"Fuck you." Mark glared as he showed both middle fingers and disappeared into the darkness to go to another piece of land, but this time, there was no one to follow him, and no one to target him.
And so he thought, when suddenly out of nowhere a man appeared in his sight.
In the middle of the lake, he was swimming, in the same lake, inside which he burned Noah and others.

And seeing him running, the man directly attacked. His attack was ruthless; the water itself turned into his sword, as it rushed towards him to cut him from between.
Growling in anger, Mark jumped out of the water, pulled his gun out of his space, and the next second, without caring, he started firing inside the water like a madman.
"NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO..........." The scream stopped abruptly before the man could say or do anything, as endless bullets riddled him.

Just to kill this man, Mark must’ve wasted close to three hundred bullets, not because he needed to, simply because he was angry and wanted to kill someone, and this person was just asking for it.
Endless comfort reached Mark after killing this man; it was as if everything he had just gone through had evaporated from this single kill. This was how much he loved this kill.
It took all of his frustration, discomfort, and anger away.
As putting the gun back in his space, Mark jumped back inside the lake and started rushing to the next island, where a new type of monster was awaiting him.
He needed strength stat points urgently. Ants were now a big no. Blake was killing the monkeys, so going there was like taking a fight to him and wasting time.
Plus, it would only make him frustrated; he couldn't kill Blake or hurt him.
So slaughtering the remaining monster was his only option, and hope that it would give him the strength stat; otherwise, he would've to go back to kill the monkeys and do the frustrating thing he didn't wanted to do.
It took Mark two minutes to reach to the island that he needed to reach. He passed three pieces of land to reach to the number seven island.
Coming out, he looked at the map. There weren't many humans in this piece of land, only eight, including him now, there were nine.
Four were in a group, while the other four were alone, and Mark's target was all the loners and the new monster; as for the group, he would leave them for someone else.
Maybe later, when the group would come to get him to kill Colby and others, they would make one round here too to end these people's miserable lives.
Having a plan in mind, Mark ran towards the new monster, Stone Man.
This was a monster that looked like a human, but was made up of stone completely, and its strength and defense were literally off the charts.
Not that its agility wasn't good, but compared to other monsters' agility, it could only be said to be subpar.
Even then, Stone Man could literally be said to be one of the most powerful monsters on the island.
But it had a very big weakness too; if one could counter its defense, then it was as good as dead.
Take Bloody Mice for an example, its iron cutting teeth could cut Stone men's ankles, and when it was down, three to four mice could decimate it by biting its eyes and going inside its head.
Of course, in the process, Bloody Mice's death was always there, but still, Stone Man's weakness was apparent.
Without its defense, killing it becomes ten times easier than humans, cuz humans at least had weapons and powers they could use, but stone man's power was their body, so was their weapon, cuz the strongest and hardest thing in the forest was stone.
