My eyes slowly adjust to the bright light. My ears are ringing like hell! My surroundings are blurry, I blink a few times before it fades away. I'm in a small white room. Across from me is a rge pond, there's two people arguing in front of it. One's Balder, the other a very rge man. Their yells are loud, almost deafening.

  "You did that to me!" The tall man yells.

  "I didn't do anything to you." Balder responds.

  "You made me a monster! You knew the side effects, yet you still told me to do it!" He screams.

  The tall man stands over Balder. He's screaming directly into his face yet Balder is just standing there. The man turns over to me, his face a bright red. He points towards me.

  "You're so afraid to face me, that you sent a human to do it for you!" He yells.

  "I couldn't have helped you." Balder tells him.

  "You're not locked in here! You could have tried!" The man says.

  Is this man another god? His presence is strong. Not to mention how he's at least ten feet tall, nearly twice Balder's size.

  "I saved you, that makes up for everything." Balder says.

  "Saved me? I wanted to die!" The man yells, his voice suddenly shifts to a calmer turn, "If you wanted to save me, you could have just killed me."

  "I wouldn't kill my own son." Balder replies.

  Son! This must mean... This man is the colossal. Is that the orbs purpose? Just to trap him here. Balder scammed me!

  "That's what he does." Balder's son scoffs, "He just... Ruins everything."

  Balder's son walks over to a wall. He slumps down and wipes his face with his hands.

  "Are you just going to trap me here with you?" He asks.

  "No, you can do whatever you wish." Balder tells him.

  Balder's son looks over at me. He points towards me.

  "I want to go with him." Balder's son says.

  "Fine with me." Balder shrugs.

  The son walks over to me. He sits next to me and puts his hands out.

  "I'm Cole, it's nice to meet you." He says.

  Balder pushes on his forehead and he disappears. Balder bends down in front of me. He puts his fingers on my forehead.

  "Loki wants to speak with you. I'll send you there." Balder tells me.

  "I don't want to see Loki!" I argue.

  Balder shrugs his shoulders and pushes me down onto the ground. I fall back and my eyes close. I wake up in another small white room. Loki sits on a wood chair in front of me. He has a rge smile on his face and a small orb in his hand.

  "Nice job Caleb!" Loki excims.

  "Balder said you have a message or something." I say.

  Loki stands up and circles around me. He taps the small orb in his hand, each tap leaving green ripples.

  "I wanted see if you've made your decision." Loki says.

  "What decision?" I ask.

  "The whole... Maria thing! Are you going to work with her or not?" Loki asks.

  I forgot about that. Loki said Maria was on hell though? It can take up to month just to sail here. I guess I've been working with Loki long enough. I still don't really trust him but, I've beaten Maria before.

  "Sure, I can work with her." I tell him.

  Loki's smile widens and he tosses his orb to the side.

  "Great! She's in a little pickle right now... I need you to go to the demon territory and rescue her." Loki mutters, "You're pretty close to her right now! It'll only really take a week or so."

  "Fine. I'll go there, but I'm doing anymore of your stupid god stuff anymore." I tell him.

  "Fine with me. I only ever need Maria, I only talked to you since you killed her." Loki shrugs.

  He walks up to me and leans down. I put my head up slightly and he taps my forehead. He pushes down slightly and I sm down onto the ground. My eyes open to multiple men standing around me. Each of them hold spears. Marty and King Yerrie are just behind the men. I look over to my side and see Cole, ying unconscious. Marty pushes through the men and grabs me by the wrist. he pulls me up to my feet.

  "Are you good?" Marty asks me.

  "I'm fine... How's the others?" I ask him.

  "Everybody is fine... Everyone that's important anyways." Marty sighs.

  He didn't even ugh at his own joke. Marty knew those men just as well as he does King Yerrie. Humor isn't always a good grieving method.

  "Let's get to our carriage." Marty says.

  I pull back. Marty turns around and gives me a strange look.

  "That man! What are you going to do with him?" I ask Marty.

  "What do you want us to do with him?" Marty sighs.

  "Well... I don't want to just leave him like that." I tell him.

  Marty let's go of me and walks back. Me pushes the soldiers out of the way and picks Cole up. He walks back to me.

  "We'll take him with us. I'm fine with it, no matter how strange he may be." Marty chuckles.

  We head over to our carriage. Pyra, The queen and princess, Frank, Hilt, and the king are already sitting inside. I wonder why Hilt is with us. Franks untied and has a weapon. I didn't see him at all during the fight. He probably didn't even help at all.

  "Who's that?" Pyra asks.

  "This is Cole. He's... The colossal." I mutter.

  Everybody stares at me like I'm crazy. Hilt looks directly at Cole, it looks like she has fire in her eyes.

  "What? No way!" Pyra ughs.

  Marty pces Cole in the corner of the carriage. Hilt sits directly across from him, holding onto something on her side. Marty sits next to Frank and at him. Marty gives him a little smile and Frank gives a confused grin back. Marty quickly punches Frank's face, knocking him out. He grabs some rope and ties him up, throwing him onto the ground.

  "Tell me Caleb. Who is this Cole guy, really." The king asks me.

  "He's the colossal, seriously. When we beat him, I guess he just turned human or something." I tell them.

  "Doesn't look very human." Marty jokes.

  The kings looks over at Hilt. He shakes his head slightly.

  "What's that about?" I chuckle.

  "Well, Hilt doesn't like your new friend Caleb. She gets to kill him if anything happens." The king tells me.
