The ground shakes ever minute or so. The vilge is within minutes from us, but we're not taking the map's path. There's a rge cliff above the vilge, we'd have to go around if we want to actually reach the vilge.

  "Hairy! Marty! You two will let me go right? You won't make me fight this thing!" Frank asks.

  "Sorry Frankie. We can't let you just walk off." Marty chuckles.

  I don't even know why we still have Frank. Maybe we should toss him off a cliff already. I can already see the ocean from here. I've never actually seen the ocean, it's beautiful really. Maybe we could take a quick swim. We reach the edge of the cliff. Everybody sets up tents. We have to wait for our little messenger to arrive. They're the only ones who know where the colossal is right now.

  I peek over the ledge, it's easily two hundred feet to the bottom. There's no nd at the bottom, just water. I can spot small spots of rubble and rooftops. Maybe the tide rose? This thing could just be rge enough to raise the tide itself. Pyra is also looking over the ledge a few feet away. I wonder, has she ever seen the ocean? She notices me staring and walks over.

  "You ready?" I ask.

  She stares out into the ocean and back at the camp.

  "I've never really been this nervous." She chuckles.

  "Can't bme you, it's been a two week wait. Now we get the fight of our lives!" I say.

  She pushes my shoulder slightly. She lets out a little chuckle.

  "Don't get hurt Caleb. I've got some lesson to teach you." She jokes.

  She walks off to our carriage. I wonder around the camp a little. I walk over to Marty's tent, maybe I could see what he's doing! It couldn't hurt to just, walk in right? I open the cloth door. Marty is sitting on his bed eating a chocote bar, Frank is tied to his chair.

  "Hey Caleb! Have you tried elven chocote, it's amazing!" Marty says.

  "Not yet, and I wasn't really pnning on it." I joke.

  "Would you know what time it is?" Marty asks me.

  I peak my head out of the tent. The sun is just setting, looks around seven. I look back into the tent.

  "Seven or eight I'd say." I tell him.

  "Shit! I'm te." Marty rushes out of the tent.

  I walk over to Marty's bed and sit down. Frank looks over at me, I give me a smile.

  "How are you Frank?" I ask.

  Frank scoffs and looks away. I stand back and step over to him. I tap his shoulder, he looks over. I push him onto his back. I lean down next to his face.

  "What do you want!" Frank scoffs.

  He tried to put Pyra in a cage... All he's done since I met him was be an asshole. I should just punch his skull in! It's all I really want to do right now! But why won't I? I used to never hesitate in situations like this...

  "Are you going to say something?" Frank scoffs.

  "No, sorry." I mutter.

  I pick myself up. I turn around and walk towards the door. Before I can make it out, Frank says something.

  "I'll warn you once kid, run. Marty will just lead you to your death." Frank tells me.

  "You're wrong, Marty is clearly stronger than you think." I say.

  "It's not about strength, Marty hesitates." He says.

  I turn to walk out. Soldiers are running around, grabbing weapons and other supplies. What's happening? The ground shakes slightly, causing a few people to trip. Is the colossal here already! Where the hell is Marty and King Yerrie? I jog around, looking for Marty. He's sitting over the ledge, talking with somebody in a hood. I walk over to them. I hear a small part of their conversation.

  "I don't know where it is... I was gone for just a few hours, yet it disappeared." The person says.

  They sound like a women and their figure is small.

  "I'll send out a search squad. It's not your fault, things happen." Marty tells them.

  They both stand up and turn around. They spot me staring at them. The person Marty is talking to is a small elf woman. She's quite pretty.

  "What's wrong Caleb?" Marty asks.

  "People are freaking out, I wanted to see what was going on." I say, "And who's this?"

  "This is Hilt. She's the messenger." Marty says.

  If she's here, then where's the colossal? I thought she knew where it was, but she was talking about losing something. The ground shakes again, a rge spsh comes from the ocean. Everybody in camp rushes over to the ledge. A rge hand bursts out from the water, smashing into the cliff. The ground crumbles and falls into the ocean. Everybody runs the opposite direction but many fall off the cliff. A rge head slowly rises over the ledge. It passes quickly, an even rger torso comes over the horizon. I thought it was just "big" but this is something else. It towers over us, even though we're standing hundreds of feet higher than it. The colossal's skin is fully gone, it's a rge pile of muscle shaped like a man.

  The colossal's fist sms into the ground. The camp we set up was nothing but rubble withing seconds. A rge ball of fire appears over the camp, it unches at the colossal's face. The monster sps the fmes away and lets out a loud yell. My legs colpse. This is just like the demon's magic.

  "Come on you piece of shit!" Marty yells.

  He rushes at the colossal's fist. The colossal notices him and moves his hand up. Marty jumps towards the fist and sshes at it's wrist. He nds down on the ground and looks up. His ssh did nothing to the monster. He taps his bde slightly, and it shatters. He stares at his sword's handle for a second before running away.

  Pyra's magic did nothing and Marty's sword completely shattered! What the hell are we supposed to here? The colossal puts both of his hands onto the ground. It picks his body up and over the cliff. He climbing up! I turn around to run, but Hilt is ying on the ground. Her eyes widen and her fist clench. I pick her up and run away.

  "Where are you going? The monster is right there!" She yells.

  "I'm getting you out of here." I tell her.

  "You don't need too! I can run away by myself." She yells.

  She pushes herself from my grip. He body nds a few feet forward and she runs away. I turn and run back towards camp. The colossal stands over the destroyed camp. It's fist has maybe twenty soldiers in it. The monster puts it's hand up to it's mouth and tosses the soldiers down it's throat. A rge ball of rock gets pulled from the ground. It starts to spin and from into a drill shape. The rock unches towards the colossal but gets caught. The colossal tosses it over to the side and lifts it's foot into the air.

  Suddenly a rge bst of air comes from a few hundred feet away. The colossal trips backwards and grabs it's foot. The colossal picks itself up and slides it's foot on the ground. Another bst comes from a different area. The colossal grabs it's head but doesn't seem affected. What's going on? Marty and the king stand in front of the colossal. The monster bends down and smiles at the two. The king unches at the colossal's face, they both fly back a few feet. Marty grabs a spear off the ground and stands the colossal in the leg. It sps the king towards the ground and kicks Marty away.

  Another bst of air comes from from the distance. The colossal looks over in the direction, while it's turned away, another fire ball hovers in the air. It flies at the colossal and nds. It explodes, covering the air with fmes. I feel a weight in my pocket. I look down and see it glowing. I pull the glowing object out, it's the orb. Why is it glowing all of a sudden?

  The fms disperse, revealing that the colossal took zero damage. A loud scream comes from the colossal. I grip the orb and run at the colossal. Balder must be telling me something. He gave me this for a reason! I pass by Pyra, she notices me. I pint towards the sky and she nods. I reach the colossal and jump into the air. a rge burst of air sends me into the sky. I reach the colossal's face. We lock eyes. The colossal examines me, before noticing the orb. It's eye's widen and it's hand wings toward me. I toss the orb at it's forehead.A bright burst of light comes from it, blinding me.
