64. Join or Fight

Acheron faced himself in a high-pressure situation, facing not only Ken but everybody surrounding him.

Even though he experienced a lot of situations like it, this was different for several reasons.

He is portrayed as a main player fighting on two sides. Amidst all this, his men were also taken down easily, and more enemies began coming out to the field.

Ken’s Occult Burst came not as a surprise, but also as a revelation of his mind. Acheron managed to escape with fewer injuries from it.

“This is not going well. I should do something,” he thought, holding the left hand where the strike hits him.

The chaos erupted as all 3 sides were clashing against each other. Harkey and Andrew now not only have to defeat the knight’s army, but also the brown-haired one, too.

“What’s happening inside?” Ken’s mind doubted.

  SWORD SLASH!!

  ESCAPE!

Ken didn’t see Acheron coming at him, but at a final moment, he managed to escape the slashing.

“Ahh! I can’t concentrate,” he said, frustrated by the situation there.

Andrew kept on fighting; he helped Harkey out several times, and neither of them was cruising through enemies, but they refused to accept their defeat either.

“You! I won’t spare you this time,” Rheos said, while meeting Andrew again.

“I won’t let you and your men do whatever you want,” Andrew replied.

“Harkey!! Go inside and bring them back here. We can’t stay here for long,” Ken shouted.

“Help them if they need, there are 3 more guys that helped us, bring them alongside our friends,” Ken added.

Harkey knew he had to fight, but he couldn’t deny Ken’s words, and so he replied, “I will come out with them soon.”

Andrew, hearing it, began to clear Harkey’s way as Harkey began to run inside.

“3 helped? I thought only 2,” Andrew thought while fighting.

“I won’t leave you in,” Rheos blocked the way of Harkey.

Harkey stopped and looked in confusion. He didn’t know what to do.

“I thought you were stronger than that, blocker!!” Andrew came at the right time, looking to fight Rheos.

“Blocker!!” Both Harkey and Rheos were shocked, hearing it.

“All you do is block, and you hit out at the weaker ones, and you call yourself a leader. Fight me if you have some guts,” Andrew provokes Rheos.

“I thought you could only block the attacks, but only you are also blocking the way just to get out of danger,” he added, smirking.

  “Shut up!!!!” Rheos screamed, furious.

“I challenge you to 1 on 1 battle, I will leave the way for your friend,” Rheos said.

“Go ahead, Harkey, I will join you soon,” Andrew told Harkey.

Harkey ran inside; the fight between Andrew and Rheos was about to start.

“Defeat everyone but these 2, I need to take down these 2 guys, finish all others who stand in your way,” Rheos ordered his men, pointing his fingers towards Ken and Andrew.

  Inside the prison,

Galen and Medrick were fighting some of the men who were following the scarred man’s orders.

Rheos decided to go outside with some of his men 10 mins before, and now only some of them were fighting Galen and Medrick.

“This is getting worse,” Galen thought, unable to fight properly.

Medrick took on a responsibility and fought a lot, reducing the number of people who fought against Galen, and gave everything in the fights.

“I don’t know why I am doing this, why am I following his orders? He has some sort of magic in his words,” Medrick is thinking about Ken’s words.

“I will help you guys,” a sound came from behind.

Everyone around there turned around and saw where the sound came from.

“You guys are his friends, right?” The veteran asked them.

“You… are you that commander?” Galen froze at the spot.

“Yeah, he must have revealed it,” the veteran replied, with a smile.

Rheos’ men were shocked, as they knew that if the veteran was talking there, their hope was little to nothing.

The veteran helped Medrick and Galen, as Rheos’ men stood in despair, on the verge of defeat.

  To Chaos Prince,

“You are fighting well,” the Chaos Prince told the brown-haired guy.

“Your men can go outside, but they will get him and his friends,” he added, about to slash with his sword.

  BLOCK!!

The brown-haired guy blocked the sword and laughed.

“We’ll see, I never thought you would help them,” he added.

“The king will be here soon. Do you think you can defeat him?” the Chaos Prince asked.

“Why are you interviewing me instead of fighting?” the brown-haired asked.

“I won’t fight him, I will escape, stop me if you can,” he added.

“Shhh! I should also escape,” the Chaos Prince had a similar thought.

  After a minute,

“Hey, you… who are you?” the Chaos Prince asked after seeing a man entering.

The brown-haired guy turned back to see who he was talking to.

It was Harkey who entered the arena. He stood watching with a sword, neither panicked nor trying to attack them.

“I am Harkey, Ken’s friend,” he introduced himself.

“Harkey…” the brown-haired guy remembered the name.

“So, you are the one who got beaten by that guy… Medrick, right?” he asked.

“How did he know that?” Harkey was shocked.

“Do you know, I am one of the reasons why he attacked you?” the brown-haired guy revealed, with a smile of evil.

“What!!!” Harkey was shocked, his foot felt heavy as if tied to the ground, with his brain feeling heavy-weight.

“What are they two talking about?” The Chaos Prince had no clue what was happening there.

“As you guys suspected, I am the man behind all the Theron attacks. I am the leader of this group, I want not only to change this region, but the whole world,” the brown-haired man revealed his plans.

“This world is full of cruelty and betrayal. I don’t need to face any of those again. I will clean this toxic world, erase everyone from existence, so that humankind will go back to the fundamentals and learn to live simply again,” he added.

Both Harkey and the Chaos Prince listened and were thinking about the consequences that they would face if they let him survive.

“For that, I need your leader, also known by the name Coin Flipper’s help, with him, I will attain it quickly,” he said.

“STOP IT!! He won’t join a person like you,” Harkey replied.

“He doesn’t control people, he just changes their view, unlike you,” he added.

“I will make him join my force, and if not, I will erase him anyway,” the brown-haired replied.
