65. Win or Lose

Both Harkey and The Chaos Prince looked tense after hearing the words of the brown-haired guy.

“If he is to stay alive for the next few years, this whole world would turn upside down,” Harkey thought about the consequences.

“Erase him?” The Chaos Prince's eyes turned red all of a sudden.

  “Harkey!!” he screamed.

“Go inside and help your friends. I will deal with this Theron guy,” he ordered Harkey.

Harkey hesitated for some seconds, but later realised that the only realistic way was the one proposed by the Chaos Prince.

“I will help them, but…” Harkey said, stopped after a second, thinking.

“I will win, even if I lose, I will make sure you guys escape,” The Chaos Prince replied, his eyes turned ferocious.

Harkey this time, didn’t think, he ran forward.

The brown-haired guy didn’t say a word, just listened to their conversation. His eyes enlarged when he saw the raging eyes of the Chaos Prince.

“I won’t attack him. It seems you are getting into a good zone now. This is getting interesting,” he told the Chaos Prince, smirking.

“What is happening here? I have never in my life thought like this,” the Chaos Prince thought about the words he spoke to Harkey.

“Why did I tell him that I would help them to escape even if it costs my life? What did he do to me?” he wondered.

“That’s it,” the brown-haired guy said, and ran forward to launch his attack.

  ESCAPED!!

The Chaos Prince somehow managed to escape the attack. He dodged and rolled towards his right side, holding the sword.

  To Ken,

“Harkey gone inside to help; that prince is fighting the main man,” Ken analyses the situation.

“That veteran is fighting that guy, Andrew is fighting the toughest in here, I am fighting this knight, everyone is busy fighting, how can we end all this quickly and escape before the arrival of the king?” Ken is in deep thinking mode.

  SLASH!!

  BLOOD SPLASHING!

Ken managed to survive after receiving the blow on his right shoulder alone.

The sound of the slash was so loud that everyone present could hear it.

“Ken!!!!” Andrew screamed, turning back at Ken.

“AWH! This hurts so bad,” Ken was in pain, more than in confusion.

“I can’t even think here,” he thought with pain.

“He seems different than before, he is not fully focused, this is my time,” the knight understood the situation.

“I should get this done quickly,” the knight thought.

The fight between Rheos and Andrew was going evenly, and neither of them was allowing the other to attack.

Their battle mainly involved tactical decisions rather than powerful attacks.

“I can’t let him fight me for long. Ken also seems to be losing. I must find a way to defeat him quickly,” Andrew thought, amidst the battle.

  COLD DRIFT!!!

  HUGE BLOW!

Andrew decided to face the situation head-on. For the first time in the battle, he decided to go all out instead of using strategies.

He created this attack back when he was in training without Ken in December.

Rheos didn’t expect the attack. His reaction told the story; the speed at which the blow reached his face is unexplainable.

He was thrown to the ground by the force of the attack.

  Back to Harkey,

Harkey was running inside the prison in search of Galen and Medrick.

“What even is this? I am running here, and there, I can’t even fight an opponent,” he thought, while running.

“Maybe I should also go to train every day,” he thought.

“Wait a minute! We won’t meet again like this after tomorrow, right?” he paused running.

His heart pumped out loud. His eyes spoke his mind out.

Tears were ready to jump out of his eyes, even though he tried to control them; they began flowing at one point.

“Why am I crying? I can’t even stop this,” he couldn’t stop crying.

“What is happening to me? What has happened to me?” his mind wandered.

  Sound of the footsteps!!

Harkey wiped out his tears after hearing the sound.

“Who is coming here?” he said in his mind, and stepped forward.

2 men ran towards him and stopped after seeing Harkey.

“Who are you?” Both the men and Harkey asked one another.

“I don’t need an answer, you must be our enemy,” one said and ran forward to attack Harkey.

  SLASH!!

“I might be weak, unreliable, but I won’t lose,” he said, slashing the guy with his sword.

The other stood there watching him slash his fellow men.

“Maybe present is called present due to it being the greatest gift that one could get,” Harkey said, with a smile.

“I won’t leave you either. Come at me, I will show you the way,” he told the one who was in front of him.

The men in front stood there in fear. After a few seconds, Harkey came towards him to attack with his sword.

“Escaping from them seems no use now,” the one in front of Harkey thought.

He raised his sword not out of hope, but just for the sake of it.

  STRIKE!!!

This time, the sword swing is even more precise and powerful, and the result is the same as before.

Harkey knocked him out of his misery.

“I should find them soon,” he began running again.

  Somewhere near Maxil,

“It’s fine, we will wait,” a man was speaking on his phone.

“Ok, I will be there within 30 minutes, Maxillon,” the king told him, and hung up the call.

“Uhhh!!” was a sigh of relief for Maxillon.

A man came screaming towards him. Maxillon was confused.

It was Eryon who was coming with his horse.

“Our knight, our knight…” his breath gave him trouble.

“Don’t panic, just convey what he said,” Maxillon told him.

Eryon told the exact words that Acheron asked him to tell, and added that they were losing in the battle.

  Maxillon thought for several minutes.

He then called the other knight and ordered him to go forward towards the prison without him.

“King will be there soon; before that, finish all of them,” he added.

  To Galen,

  Before 5 minutes,

“Two of them ran away. What should we do?” Galen asked the veteran.

“Leave them, they won’t leave alive anyway,” the veteran replied, coldly.

“It’s already too late as per our plan, let’s just get out of here,” Galen told them.

Both the veteran and Medrick finished the remaining men that came at them, and listened to Galen’s plan.

Galen had been thinking of a plan for the last 10 minutes, and finally, he told them his plan.
