20. Blue Times

“Clutch Crafter, what is with that name?” Ken started laughing after hearing.

“Who is he anyway? Haha,” he still can’t control his laugh.

“Read this,” his father gave him a newspaper.

The headline of the newspaper was “Crafter made it, just in time”. The contents were about the crafter who saved 3 men from a fire accident. It’s the second time he has saved someone in the past week.

“Why is he mentioned as a crafter? What’s his name?” Ken asked his father.

“His identity is still unknown, but when he saved Dan, he said he was a crafter and he would be happy if anyone would call him like that,” his father explained.

“He wore a headband, glasses, and a green t-shirt both times,” his father added the details.

  “Headband, glasses?” Ken was confused.

“I want to meet him,” Ken thought to himself.

He then spoke for another 25 minutes.

  “Clutch Crafter, huh!” he wondered.

He texted Andrew about the news and went to sleep.

The next morning, Ken woke up late at 10:45 am. He was tired as his pain felt a lot worse than the previous day.

His body felt heavy, and he felt a needle of pain inside his head. His legs stopped him from moving.

He tried getting up, but his body had other ideas. He called out to his mom.

“Don’t try hard, I can see the pain in you,” his mother told him to take a rest.

“What is wrong with me? That day, he said he could see my words; now she says she can see my pain,” he started thinking.

“Do I seem weird or something?” his mind was a mess as early as morning.

  He opened his phone.

“Are you ok?” Andrew texted him.

Did you know this text is from a different site? Read the official version to support the creator.

He didn’t attend 3 calls; all of it was from Andrew.

“I can barely speak, my body is not working,” he thought.

“I am exhausted, I will text you once I get better,” he replied to that message.

“Is Lucera fine? I need to know—” his vision got blurred.

He fell asleep on his bed.

Meanwhile, Andrew was busy researching at home.

“Who is this crafter guy? Have I seen him anywhere?” he activated detective mode.

His research continued until 12:00 pm.

“Is he not well? But I should not disturb him for a while,” he saw the text.

“He will be fine, maybe I should check out on others too,” he exited the house.

“Lately, I haven’t been able to run. I should return to my routine soon,” he thought while walking.

Suddenly, he got the image of crimson red rope in his memory for some reason. He started recalling.

“This forest chose you. If you are destined to survive from here, you would gain this power,” these words appeared on his head.

His heart started pumping quickly, his veins intensified, and his mind went blank for some reason.

“What is happening to me?” he held his head and closed his eyes as he stood there for about 6 minutes.

  His body started regaining senses.

  “Are you ok?” a voice.

He opened his eyes as his body became normal.

“You, blue watch guy!” she shouted.

  He turned back.

What he saw was a normal-looking girl carrying a bag. Her hair was curled, her eyes felt lively, and she was wearing a blue dress.

Andrew was stunned for a few seconds.

“Who are you? What do you need here?” he started asking questions.

“What is with this girl? She feels different from others,” he thought.

“You stood here holding your head for some time. I just wondered what happened to you?” she answered.

“You wondered about me? I am fine,” his reaction changed.

“Why did you call me blue watch?” he asked.

“Because you wore a blue watch, that’s it,” she replied without a thought.

“No one called me like that, it was weird,” he told her.

“Then should I call her blue girl?” he had a thought.

Her phone rang when she was about to speak.

“Sorry, I need to go,” she said, putting her phone into her bag.

“Wait, it looks like I am the one who stopped here,” he thought.

  “Your name?” she asked him.

“Andrew, what about—” When he was about to ask, her phone rang again.

“Ok, I will be there soon,” she was talking to someone.

“We will see again, bye,” she said as she left.

“See again? I don’t even know her name,” he thought while seeing her leave.

He then started walking to Roger’s house. He reached within 50 minutes and saw Roger resting.

“He is fine, don’t worry,” his wife told him.

“I didn’t even worry, I know he will be fine, but—” he felt relaxed after seeing him.

After a few minutes, “I will come again later,” he told her.

He then walked to check on Galen. After walking for over an hour, he reached the hospital where Galen was present.

His body condition is the same as Roger's but slightly worse.

After speaking to Galen’s parents for a while, he left.

When he returned home, it was already 4:00 pm. He ate his lunch and slept for a while.

Andrew felt lonely the next day as Ken didn’t accompany him to college.

“He changed a lot in my life; he has something in him that changes people,” he muttered about Ken while having his lunch.

During the next break, he spoke with Harkey.

They spoke for about 20 minutes. It was nothing more than a normal conversation until Andrew asked, “Who is that Vittario? How do you know him?”.

“He is my childhood friend, I used to play in his house, so his family knows me well,” he replied.

“He doesn’t know about that power,” Andrew thought for a while.

Then their classes resumed as they went to their places. The day went slowly as Andrew had been thinking about Vittario since the break.

“I know he has that power, but I can’t prove it to anyone,” he thought while walking home.

“I should tell Ken about this,” he tried texting Ken.
