- Grand Dirge: Super Dark Demolition Cannon: (x3) An enhanced version of the Dark Demolition Cannon. [Users]:
- Draconic Kata Verse:
- [Redacted]: Dragon Flash: (x1.5) An enhanced form of Aether-Skips, resembling that of a flickering dragon; capable of moving at incredible speeds. [Users]:
- [Redacted]: Dragon Combination: (x1.5) High-speed chain of fluid attacks, weaving like two serpents entwined. Martial kata expressed through flowing strikes. [Users]:
- [Redacted]: Dragon’s Barrage: (x1.1) A furious storm of blows, each strike carrying the bite of a dragon. [Users]:
- Roar of the Abyss: Dragon Blast: (x3) A massive energy blast shaped like a dragon’s head and jaws. The “roar” represents the unleashed destructive force of aether in draconic form. [Users]:

- Hyper Energy Mode (HEM): (x1 - x10 observed) Channels internal aether into forced surges through meridian canals. Provides significant strength and speed boosts. Severe muscular, circulatory, and meridian strain. Risk of total collapse. [Users]:
- Enhanced State: (~x100 Physical Strength) Transformation triggered by intense emotion. Alters aura and eyes to creamy white. Drastically increases physical power. Feared by Apocalypse (per Kai). Drains aether flow, can cause some meridian strain, and provides no aetheric reinforcement (for both combat and defense). [Users]:
- Demon Forms: Transformation that utilizes some sort of demon energy unique to a specific group of people (theorized to be Dystopian; further analysis required) to significantly amplify aether output. Different versions of the form seem to have different effects.
- Imperfect Form: (x2) Inefficient boost in strength that lacks stability. [Users]: Felix, Julie.
- Demonic Base: (x2) A slight boost in power achieved by releasing Dystopian aether used for ‘Demon Forms’ into meridians while still maintaining one’s Natural State. Balanced enhancement, low energy cost. [Users]: Rikito, Kai.
- Level One: (x5) Transforms the user's body into that of a demonic theme by using Dystopian aether. High offensive boost. Slight boost in healing-factor observed. [Users]: Rikito, Kai.
- Level Two: (x10) Transforms the user's body into that of a demonic theme by using Dystopian aether. Requires more skill and control than the previous level but provides higher boons. Extreme amplification; massive energy cost. [Users]:

- Aether: The natural life-force and energy that fuels all combat and life in the universe. It flows through meridians and can be refined, manipulated, or weaponized. Exists in multiple forms: ambient (cosmic background), natural (from mortals), [Redacted] (from higher beings), and specialized (race-specific). (See also: Flux, Flow, Yield, Arts, Crafts, [Redacted])
- Flux: The active output of Aether from within one’s body. Determines how much energy can be exerted in an instant. (See also: Flow, Aether, Yield)
- Flow: The reservoir of Aether contained within one’s body. Flow represents storage, while Flux represents expenditure. (See also: Flux, Aether, Yield)
- Stamina: The body’s natural energy. Separate from Flow — stamina governs physical endurance and recovery, while Flow governs energy usage.
- Physical Stats: A person’s innate strength, speed, durability, etc. Can be boosted by Flux, but are not themselves aether-based.
- Yield: The measurement system used to estimate how much Flux (active aether output) a being can generate at a given moment. Unlike Flow (total storage), Yield represents instantaneous output capacity. Transformations, Arts, and techniques can temporarily alter Yield by boosting Flux efficiency. (See also: Flux, Flow, Aether, Transformations, Arts)
- Notation: Written in values such as 2,000 or 25,000, sometimes with multipliers (e.g., x2). Later arcs use advanced notations (e.g., “0z” tiers and infinities).
- Purpose: Functions as a benchmark for comparing combatants, though real strength is affected by stamina, Arts mastery, and tactics.
- Limitations: Yield levels are not absolute. Environmental conditions, emotional states, and unique racial abilities can distort readings.
- Aether Resurgence: A universal phenomenon that occurs when a being’s Flow (aether reserves) and Flux (output) are pushed beyond their natural limits by extreme strain, trauma, or near-death experiences. Rather than a transformation, Aether Resurgence is a temporary state of accelerated growth, awakening hidden potential and reshaping the user’s aether pathways. There are three recognized types (See also: Aether, Flow, Flux, Yield, [Redacted], [Redacted]):
- Aether Surge: A rapid optimization of existing reserves, allowing a sudden but limited boost in Yield (like adding water to a bottle half full). Often occurs during moments of desperation or first brushes with life-or-death combat.
- Aether Bloom: Expands a being’s lifetime Yield ceiling, permanently raising the maximum potential their body can achieve (like replacing the current water bottle(s) with a larger one, the contents inside expanding accordingly). Usually triggered by long-term strain, harsh training, or surviving repeated near-death experiences.
- Second Genesis: The rarest and most dangerous form. Creates an entirely new aether reservoir within the body, effectively granting the user a “second life” of power (like adding an additional water bottle, filled to the same height as the current one). It can occur multiple times (Third Genesis, Fourth Genesis, etc.), but each successive genesis becomes exponentially harder to achieve. The First Genesis occurs when a being is born, naturally bestowing aether onto them as a piece of the [Redacted].
- Arts: The practical manifestations of Aether in combat. (See also: Crafts, Yield)
- Retro Arts: Elemental expressions of Aether (fire, water, lightning, wind, shadow, light, etc.).
- Neo Arts: Techniques focused on body manipulation, reinforcement, or movement (e.g., flight, Aether-Skip, body hardening).
- Arcane Arts: All non-elemental and non-physical techniques. Includes beams, barriers, sensory arts, and spatial manipulation.
- Hybrid Arts: Rare fusion of multiple types (e.g., Retro + Neo).
- Crafts: A structured body of Arts forming a martial or mystical school. A Craft often carries thematic unity (e.g., Akira’s Star Destroyer Craft, or the shared Draconic Kata Verse).
- [Redacted]: The ancient and broken cosmic language derived from the [Redacted]. Few mortals can speak it, though certain races (notably [Redacted]) preserve fragments. It often manifests when True Names are revealed, or when ancient spirits/echoes attempt communication. (See also: [Redacted], True Names)
- [Redacted]: The cosmic echo that permeates all energy. Said to trace back to the [Redacted] and is the source of all True Names. Some hear fragments of its “melody” during moments of attunement. (See also: [Redacted], True Names, Whispers)
- Whispers: Direct resonance from the [Redacted]. The Whispers gift a wielder with the True Name of an Art. This only occurs under extreme conditions — deep spiritual alignment, great emotional upheaval, or obsessive repetition of an Art until a cosmic link is forced. (See also: [Redacted], True Names, Arts)
- Art Naming: Every perfected Art possesses two names.
- True Name: whispered to the wielder through the [Redacted], reflecting their soul, intent, and cosmic resonance (e.g., “Bullet of Scorching Dawn”). (See also: Arts, Crafts, [Redacted], Whispers)
- Colloquial Name: a practical or shortened term used in everyday combat (e.g., “Bone Piercing Ray”).
- Solaris: A solar system housing the Earth, its sun and moon, as well as a few other planets such as Mars and Jupiter…
- Drift Sphere: A small space-pod capable of taking one or two people on a long-distance travel through space. A popular technology among [Classified].
- The Vessel: Title given to Akira by the Generals. Said to hold a power that “rightfully belongs to Apocalypse.” (See also: Heart of Utopia, Generals, Apocalypse)
- The Heart of Utopia: A term referenced by Felix. Is it an artifact? A treasure? Not much is known, but it seems to be related to ‘The Vessel’. Perhaps ‘The Vessel’ is a carrier for this ‘Heart’. (See also: The Vessel, Apocalypse, Generals)
- The Grand World: A mysterious destination mentioned by the Generals, believed to be Apocalypse’s ultimate goal.
- The Generals: Elite lieutenants of Apocalypse.
- Confirmed members: Felix (1st, deceased), Julie (2nd), Bills (3rd), Kai (4th).
- Enhanced State: Legendary transformation feared even by Apocalypse. Its true origin has yet to be revealed. Theorized to be a form used by the [Classified]. (See also: Aether)
- UFA: The Ultimate Fighting Academy on Earth. A prestigious institution that welcomes students from all over Solaris. Trains students with the goal of molding them into experienced warriors versed in both martial arts and aether manipulation. (See also: Cosmic Guard, Trial of Merit, Provisional License)
- Trial of Merit: A rite of passage presented to upcoming UFA students. Those who pass are granted “Provisional Licenses” so that they can go on missions. Once they complete their training, they are granted full “Fighter-Class” / “Warrior-Class” licenses and are allowed to use their powers within the authority of the Cosmic Guard. (See also: UFA)
- The Cosmic Guard: The primary governing force of the Cosmos. They patrol numerous systems throughout the Universe… and beyond? The Commander is shrouded in mystery… does he take orders from someone… or something above? Affiliated with the UFA. (See also: UFA, Cosmic Credits)
- Cosmic Credits: A monetary system established by the Cosmic Guard and used throughout its jurisdiction. (See also: Cosmic Guard, Solaris)
