Chapter- 63 (Colbys Cruelty)

In shadow, Mark hid, between the fiery mist and the burning aura of the physical type wolf, a thin line of shadow was created.

Hiding inside that shadow, he was watching the entire show. He never went inside any of Colby’s body.

Not that he never thought of doing that, but the wolf he wanted to go inside was the physical type wolf, not the elemental type, and he simply couldn't go inside of him.

The aura its body was automatically releasing due to all the mist, and before it was sea, it was protecting him from all sides.

The only time it opened its mouth was to let the roar out and destroy everything. At that time, going inside its mouth was literally asking for death, so instead, he hid in the shadows and waited for the right moment.

And he was sure that moment would come, at least, one of the two bodies would give him a chance to draw him out.

And he was sure as hell that body would be the elemental body, because no matter how big that body looked, only the physical type wolf gave him the threatening aura.

It was this smaller-sized wolf that made him hide instead of fight, even though he held such an overwhelming stat points.

Besides his Luck Stat, all of his stats were 100 and completed. The only reason his Luck stat was 99.9 + 0.1 was that the last 0.1 point was locked.

Not letting him go through the so-called metamorphosis, because there was no good environment here for him.

Or maybe the test never expected someone to reach this limit, and even after all that, Mark was feeling threatened by the physical type wolf, so it literally meant that it held the stat point similar to him, or maybe even the same. Maybe it was also just one point away from the metamorphosis.

And why not, after all, there were more than a million wolves that were created throughout all the fighting that happened, maybe even more.

And all Colby needed to do was kill enough, if not, then eat enough to gain proper nutrition for his body, and inside the sea, there were enough fishes for him to do that.

Fishes, which were smaller in size, were always running around in larger groups and were omnipresent whenever someone fell into the lake.

Just that was enough to show their overwhelming numbers, but maybe they never were able to show what they could really do, cuz an entity hidden inside the sea obliterated most of them before they could do anything. This was the only reasoning that made sense to him.

So, hiding inside the shadow in his human form, which was hundreds of times weaker in presence, was the right thing to do.

Sooner or later, just like before, Colby would lose his mind, and the only option he would be left with would be to separate his giant elemental body, and the moment he did that, they would all die. He would obliterate them from their existence.

And then, without problem, he would transform to fight one-on-one with the physical-type wolf.

He simply couldn’t let two monstrous wolves gang up on him and maybe even kill him in the end.

  Why not?

Everything was possible, that was what he had learned after coming to his world. Heck, Colby's existence in itself was a slap to everyone's face, which was telling him not to become complacent and drown in his pomp and glory.

  Five Hours!

Five agonizing hours, Colby waited in the mist for Mark to appear and do something to him.

Kill him, fight him, come from inside of him, obliterate his brain or something, but nothing like that happened.

  Nothing really happened.

It was as if Mark didn't even exist inside the circle, but the glaring number at the top was telling him that wasn't true.

Mark was inside the circle, and he was alive.

  One Hour!

That was the time he was left with. If he didn't kill Mark within that time, then he and Mark would die together, and he simply wasn't ready for that.

Not after how far he had come.

So he needed to give leverage to Mark, give him something that he simply couldn't ignore.

And the moment that thought came into his mind, an idea appeared alongside it, rocking his mind.

It was as if he found the answer to everything he needed, and going through the plan, he felt a creepy smile coming onto his face.

And without waiting, he started separating.

One giant body, two giant bodies, five giant bodies, ten giant bodies, twenty giant bodies, thirty bodies, and then all of his giant bodies started to stand in two different groups.

One group had fourteen wolves, while the other had sixteen.

And this all happened in an instant, but Mark, who was ever ready for such an opportunity, did not let the chance pass by.

And he used the power of his shadow to creep upon all the wolves, slowly but gently.

Letting the shadow create an outline on top of every wolf's body, such a thin layer that inside the mist, it was literally invisible.

And just as he was about to execute his plan, one of the wolves spoke, "David… what happened, David….. who is firing the bullets….. Is Mark safe…. Did they fire bullets at Mark…. WHAT HAPPENED DAVID, WHY AREN'T YOU SAYING ANYTHINGGGGGGG…….."

And listening to the dialogue, Mark felt his blood run cold, because David was his father’s name, and the only person who could speak with such concern and genuineness could only be his mother.

And this bastard was reenacting that scene.

Scene where he had fired the bullets at students' parents at the District Court, where he killed the other police officers, and later even the innocent people.
