3- the novel…

Far away in the west region of the world, a man burst into a room, his eyes wide with urgency.

"My liege, the formu has been verified. Mr. Sen confirms it's the real deal."

Aasiho, the Supreme Leader of the West Region of Salta, stood with her back to him, her military camoufge blending with the shadows.

Her voice was calm, but her words were ced with steel. "Destroy the quantum eternity bst formu. Burn it, bury it, erase it from existence. Not a single copy should remain on Salta." She paused for a breath. "Also, lock the base area. No one should know what happen there. Check the order, Osahi."

The scout nodded and retreated, leaving Aasiho to stare out the transparent gss wall.

On the other side, a creature raged against its atomic chains, its eyes gouged out, its body bruised and battered. It was a mermaid, but unlike any other. Its raspy voice sent shivers down Aasiho's spine.

"Heh you, heh you, the one we abhor... don't resist, we all will die... heh, we all will die."

The mermaid's words echoed the prophecy: "The twin mountains with doors will burst open, and there it awaits."

Aasiho's gaze hardened. Although she believed these were nothing but nonsense but the things happening around are telling her to think again.

She then looked at the information file of the quantum eternity bst formu pced on her desk.

This time the responsibility is heavier than any she hold before.

Maybe the prophecy stating that the world will end this year was true. Maybe. So she needed to prepare before things became worse.

Aasiho's eyes narrowed, her gaze piercing as she turned back to the mermaid. She poked her cheek with her tongue. Her expression hardened, jaw clenched, and a determined gre settled on her face.

Better try than wait. Even if she fail, this shitty formu will never be seen by the vilins again.

Atleast she won't be sorry that she didn't tried.

After a st look of the mermaid, she turn her heels towards the metal door.

'Maybe this will be the st time I'll see you Shell..'

The mermaid's roar resonated deeply with the ocean. The secret it held was vast, just like the water in it.

Ocean - A complete another world with different perspectives and knowledge...

Meanwhile, in a cozy bedroom, Mara y on his bed, his friends sitting nearby.

"Fuck you, Mara!" Yen shouted, punching the pillow. "After hearing your shit, whom should I pray to?!"

Mara chuckled, unfazed. Tianyeng tried to interject, but Yen cut him off. "Shut it, your reviews are giving me goosebumps!"

Alright, let's just sleep now. The novel is already ended, plot gone, and no one is coming looking for us. Let's just sleep."

Outside the building, the lights on the 12th floor, third window, were switched off. For a total of three minutes and twenty-seven seconds, nothing happened, until..

"Hey, you know I was about to say-" "Fuck, old man, in teen, you could have waited for three more seconds before speaking! Let it become thirty!!" The blow from the pillow hit hard, enough to send a coma patient into a deeper coma.

After the first commotion, the second and third followed, but the pillow fighter remained the same, Yen, though the victim varied. In the end, sleep was never an option.

The three made themselves comfortable in their bed before continuing some world-saving discussion.

  Even though Yen disagreed.

"So, I was saying, according to the fifth volume, the world truly has mythical creatures like vampires, wolverine, and other things." Tianyeng whispered, as if speaking out a forbidden word.

"Pfft, it's not wolverine, dog, it's werewolves. Didn't you watch that Light Twi movie?" Yen interrupted, followed by Mara, "No, he does not follow the love trends!" As the duo burst out ughing, leaving Tianyeng confused again.

  "Ahem, you continue, please."

"So.... I was thinking, our brains are wired to capture and hold onto moments, you know? Like, an artist sees a sick sunset and has to paint it, trying to bottle that feeling and share it with everyone." This was maybe the first time both Yen and Mara saw Tianyeng saying such a big sentence; their mouths were open, with their lower jaws held by both of them. Don't fall.

Tianyeng did not see this dumbfounded expression on his friends' faces. "Ahem... so, anyways, writers do the same thing, right? They write about what they've experienced or seen, because even the wildest imagination needs something to tch onto. That's why I think those mythical creatures in fantasy stories – vampires, mermaids, all that – maybe they're based on something real. Like, they're echoes of our collective experiences, turned into symbols that speak to us on some deep level. Maybe they're not just made-up, but distorted reflections of a truth we're trying to grasp."

After his long, broad speech, Tianyeng took a breath and then burst into a bright smile, as if asking, 'Am I right?' 'What do you think?' 'Do you like my thought?' What could the duo say? They just gave him a pat, with an expression of a wise father and an emotional mother.

Mara and Yen knew that this guy is an overthinker, but it was today they got to see his power. Not a lie, they think that his power should be S+ level, at least.

The night deepened, and so did their conversation.

Laughing, scaring, and mocking each other, until the thoughts of the novel melted away.

Now, no one was scared cause they are accompanied by some warmth, a presence which felt quite safe, a presence that felt quite like comrades.

Mara once again looked out of the window only to be greet by a bright blood moon.

" Hey look lunar Eclipse! Shit what's the date today?"

All the three of them then rushed towards the window and start clicking pictures of blushing moon.

" Hey Tianyeng look the moon look like you beautiful and bashful ahh."

Then they ugh together " Yen stop you're making my finger itching."

The serious of ehh and cringe was never-ending.

Their bickering continued, but little did they know that things wouldn't be this cozy and heartwarming in the coming future.

This cursing will become a norm, while enjoyment will be cursed.

A peice of bread will weigh a life.

Guilt will become a part of their life, or maybe they'll become a reason for guilt in someone's life.

To be continued if life remains...
