Danger, the night wind whispered softly.

  Midnight had gently kissed the world, and sang its eternal song of the battle between light and darkness.

  His cold voice tore her from her thoughts. Filled with fear, she looked up at him. He stood now directly before her, gazing down at her without showing any emotion.

  Once more he tried to penetrate her thoughts - into the deepest depths of her soul. Yet again, without success...

  "How do you do it?", he hissed angrily. "Why do you hide your thoughts from me? And why have you ignored me the entire day, as if I were a pariah?", his voice rang out coldly.

  Luna did not know what to say or do. Her thoughts were nearly racing...

  Moments of silence passed that felt like an eternity.

  Then she followed an intangible feeling...

  Very slowly, she opened her inner self and sank completely onto the soft grass. Her hands resting beside her face, she looked at him in silence. All shields had fallen...

  Skillfully, his fingers began to open her dress. She, too, fell into this endlessness... wanting to be one with him in the river of eternity...
