Chapter 137 Sending the Formula

Henwell is somewhat surprised when Catherine directly hands over the formus for two special alloys. He quickly realizes that Catherine is pcing a significant bet on him.

Although there are two alloys, Greensteel is the superior one. However, its complex production process indicates a high level of difficulty in manufacturing it.

Henwell isn't particurly concerned about producing the alloys himself; he's more interested in understanding their principles. Any insight he can gain is a valuable reward for him.

After a few minutes, Henwell hands the parchments back to Catherine. Princess Catherine frowns, "These are genuine! I have no reason to deceive you with fakes!"

Henwell smiles, "I know. I've already memorized the formus. These seem to be the originals, and you probably have limited time to bring them out. Take them back."

Catherine looks at Henwell in astonishment, "You remembered all that content?"

The parchments are filled with extensive data, and Henwell has only memorized about sixty percent. However, he has used the chat group's screenshot feature to record everything. This feature allows him to store information, and he can send up to 8MB of files each month, including images.

Taking screenshots requires a bit of mental focus, but with practice, it's manageable. Most screenshots are under 1MB, though high-resolution images require more memory. By sending the screenshots to the chat group, Henwell can conveniently review and organize them ter.

Each member who can speak in the group has their own folder to store important knowledge and files. Most group members archive various documents, although some mischievous ones store screenshots of beautiful women, complete with names and descriptions, presumably to avoid the awkward situation of calling someone by the wrong name.

Catherine has no idea that Henwell has special ability and believes he genuinely has an eidetic memory. "Alright! I'll arrange for the delivery of some special materials mentioned in the alloy formus. You need to start producing the equipment I need as soon as possible."

With that, Catherine tucks the parchments back into her chest and leaves promptly. Clearly, it wasn't easy for her to produce these documents, and she needs to return them quickly.

Once Henwell is sure he's not being followed, he heads to a small courtyard he purchased in Divine Revetion City. Ade and Harvey, two attendants Henwell acquired, have been living there for a year. They assist a small trading caravan not officially linked to Henwell, handling various tasks. After a year of training, they no longer resemble their former serf selves, and with proper nutrition, they've grown strong and healthy.

When Henwell arrives, they are momentarily surprised but quickly welcome him inside. In the privacy of a room, Henwell transcribes the alloy formus. After double-checking for accuracy, he hands part of the information to Ade and Harvey, instructing them to have the caravan swiftly deliver it back to Peace Haven.

After giving his instructions, Henwell leaves the city and heads to the warehouse district in the west, where he activates a covert line. He uses a faster method to send the remaining formu data back to Peace Haven.

This involves specially trained birds known as Wolf Falcons, which are adept at long-distance flights. Resembling a cross between pigeons and falcons, these birds are raptors, and Henwell invested heavily in their training.

Wolf Falcons can fly up to 400 kilometers a day, but to be safe, Henwell has established rest stations every 200 kilometers. Using a rey system, the information can be transmitted over 500 kilometers in a day. Within a week, it should reach Peace Haven.

However, Henwell isn't entirely confident in this method's reliability, so he splits the data. Half is sent with the birds, and the other half is delivered by horseback rey. If one method fails, Henwell, keeping cautious, is prepared to personally ensure the safe delivery of the information.

On the other hand, Henwell also wants to find out if anyone is watching him. If the mysterious organization or the Kingdom of Billie has taken notice of him or discovered Catherine's actions, they might attempt to intercept his sending.

However, even if they do, they'll only get half of the information, which is useless to the mysterious organization and insufficient to charge him with espionage by the kingdom.

Fortunately, everything goes smoothly. A month ter, during the Harvest Festival, Henwell receives confirmation that Peace Haven has successfully received both parts of formus. The encrypted messages have been decoded and delivered to the secret workshop district. There, skilled craftsmen have begun studying the materials.

Meanwhile, a new batch of weapons and equipment arrives, along with special materials needed for the alloys that Princess Catherine has sent. These materials are carefully selected by Catherine and are exclusive to the Kingdom of Billie. Whether the formus leak or if Vorry Duchy gets hold of them, it won't harm Billie since the unique minerals are unavaible elsewhere.

Of course, Henwell's primary goal is research. He pns to produce the alloys and create equipment for Catherine. His secret workshop's craftsmanship and steel quality exceed Catherine's expectations. There are minimal losses and a low failure rate, contrary to what Catherine might have imagined.

Even after fulfilling Catherine's equipment order, Henwell still has a significant amount of alloy material left. Two months ter, Henwell is ready to deliver the first batch of premium equipment, as promised.

While Henwell is busy with his dealings with the rebellious princess, Arius is equally engaged with the countess princess. The two nations are finally ironing out the specifics of their alliance through marriage, and it seems the arrangement is set. After a year of back-and-forth negotiations, both parties have finally come to the table, discarding unrealistic demands and showing genuine willingness to communicate.

This development brings relief to the diplomatic delegation. With the decision made at the highest levels, the factions on both sides have settled down, no longer causing disturbances. As spring arrives the following year, the wedding date is confirmed, with the duchy set to formally receive the bride before the Midsummer Festival. A grand procession will travel to the Kingdom of Billie for the occasion.

Henwell and the delegation will officially conclude their lengthy mission once this event takes pce. Before the year's end, Henwell has already delivered two batches of premium weapons and equipment for the knight order. The first batch includes twenty-five sets, and the second batch has forty sets.

Most of these weapons and equipment are crafted from Mountainsteel, with only a few items made from Greensteel. Despite the expertise of the master smiths, Greensteel remains notoriously difficult to produce.
