Chapter 8 - Scheming Linda

  Linda's body froze at Helen's straightforward approach and flirty words. She forced out an awkward-looking smile while tolerating her body's response to being stroked and fondled for the first time by a beauty's hands as she simply nodded towards Helen and was brought back inside the club.

  Seeing Helen bringing her towards the private area, Linda's heart began to beat in excitement. Not only was she looking forward to earning a lot with the system's help, but also to the possibility of finally experiencing a night with a beauty at st ter on.

  Helen ordered a few expensive drinks while holding Linda's waist closely, rubbing up and down constantly, feeling out Linda's soft body.

  Linda quickly found her chance to test the system's capabilities as she spoke to the beauty hugging her,

  "Right, let me pick the tab for you tonight. I am really thankful for your accepting my request and for your company. It's only proper for me to be the one paying for the drinks."

  Not waiting to hear any objections, Linda asked the bartender for the bill. After making sure that everything was fine with the bill, Linda transferred the amount, hoping that the system would not crash her pns again.

  At the sight of the successful transaction message, a smile full of relief and excitement blossomed on Linda's face.

  'Yesss~! Alright, this thing works after all! Just with the system targets... I need to think about how to use this properly.'

  Linda clenched her fist to hide her excitement as she raked her brain on how to turn her fate around with the cheat in her hand.

  Right beside her, Helen stared at Linda with surprise, not expecting her to become so happy at paying for their drinks. She hadn't thought much of Linda before, taking her as a poor dy hoping to enjoy the night without paying, probably a poor college student or something. Helen didn't mind paying for the company of a cute-looking girl like Linda, of course, in exchange for some steamy actions ter on in the night.

  However, at the sight of the modestly dressed beauty like Linda giggling after paying for their drinks, a strange emotion began to well up within Helen. One that she wasn't very familiar with yet.

  Having firmly established herself financially as a somewhat successful w firm owner, Helen didn't ck money for everyday expenses. She wasn't filthy rich, but was still doing well for someone self-made. Yet, she had never been at the receiving end of favors for a while now. Accustomed to letting others take small advantages of her, Linda's innocence felt like a breath of fresh air to Helen. She also felt somewhat ashamed for having wrongly thought of Linda as she had earlier.

  As Linda was celebrating the system not being her delusion, her mind worked on how to exploit the system to her advantage, when a new notification popped up in front of her.

  Good news came all at once to Linda. The message from the bank on her phone reconfirmed her belief in the system's prowess, as Linda screamed internally with delight.

  That was also when she noticed an anomaly. When paying for the drinks, Linda had paid for the combined bill for both of them rather than just for the system target Helen. And yet, she had succeeded.

  'Doesn't that mean that whenever I want to buy something, I just need to combine the purchase and treat a few things as gifts for the targets? Would any amount be possible to spend, or are there any restrictions on that? I need to do a few more tests to know the limitations of this system.'

  'If only it could have let me use unlimited funds... no, how could that be possible? That would be way too much of a cheat if that were true. Wouldn't the system's rewards, like the Affection points, increase cash be rendered useless if that was the case?'

  'But, what if I ask one of my targets to pay my bills while transferring her the amount? Although it sounds weird, that could also be a possibility. Even millions shouldn't be a problem... maybe. Although I don't think the almighty system could be that buggy... well, it did confuse my gender at first, so I am not fully confident. But, maybe it's worth a try? Oh well, there is only one way to find out! And I know exactly who to try this on...'

  Linda eyed Helen as she took a sip of the wine, with the past and present troubles fshing by her mind, as her courage to try the unthinkable began to grow. If it were anyone else in Linda's shoes, they might have focused on the system with its intended use, i.e, to win over the girls with endless gifts and money. Spping money on the face of gold diggers always worked for a reason. The diggers loved to dig, and the provider just had to keep letting them dig.

  In Linda's case, though, the poverty-like situations had altered her worldview and priorities, especially after having gained a daughter. Rather than using the money to win over the beauties, Linda was more inclined to use the beauties to win over the money. She did have the idea of getting into romantic retionships with beauties, but the prospect of increasing her wealth excited Linda a lot more.

  Resolving herself to seeing things through to the end, and the bank message still hovering in the notifications tab on her phone, Linda felt more driven than ever as she did her best to flirt with Helen, letting her know that she was interested in Helen as well. Linda was adamant on milking the most out of her cash cow, not wanting to go through the dreadful experience of hunting potential targets again.

  Of course, Linda also wished to farm some Affection points as well. Busy with her hustle, Linda didn't notice the others watching her with amusement. Helen was a regur there and often brought different girls with her to drink with. What she did with them afterwards, onedidn't have to be Einstein to know that.
