“You are not normal, Ken,” Lucera was scared by the looks of him.
The villagers who are coming with a brute force stopped when they saw the eyes of Ken.
Even though many walked back, some of them went forward as they wanted to kill Ken. Ken wasn’t aware of the reason why they were attacking him.
Even without using his powers, he then began slashing out others who came forward towards him. He just became uncontrollable as he seemed to lose his mind.
“I should be there within 10 minutes,” Galen running towards the house from the forest.
Vittario stood up and then marched forward with blood falling from his face. “Why, have you done that?”.
“I don’t who you are, I don’t care what you say” Ken read his mind and blocked his left foot kick upwards.
His face remained the same, scary. He got his blood falling from all over his body and his veins running cold.
“Don’t fight, Ken,” Lucera was crying as she couldn’t look what is happening there.
“AAAAAAhhhh, I am not me now,” Ken blasted a punch using his left fist at Vittario as he was angry over himself more than anything.
Vittario went flying and hits the side wall of the house and became unconscious.
His left hand was bleeding so much as if it was broken. Ken finally came to his own consciousness but a result of his fierceness, he was exhausted.
“I can’t move,” Ken’s head started twirling, his injuries overwhelmed him and he fell down.
When Ken fell, there was a big silence in the house. Lucera was shell-shocked so does the villagers.
But they realized it was their time to kill him so they marched forward like crazy.
“Now is the best time, let’s kill him for what he had done,” a villager started hitting Ken.
As time passes, almost everyone began beating him. Lucera was begging for them to stop but they didn’t listen up.
When she holds the legs of a villager to beg them, a villager kicked her with no mercy, “You are with him so you should also be the cause for it,” he proclaimed.
Lucera with his head hurting, unable to move still went forward to shield Ken.
“You don’t deserve to live,” A villager beats her and throwed her towards the side wall.
She fell with blood rushing from her head.
Other villagers who were standing took Vittario and looked to treat him.
If you stumble upon this tale on Amazon, it's taken without the author's consent. Report it.
“You came to our village, you kidnap a family and now you beat him when he asked about it,” villagers don’t know who did it.
When they saw Vittario getting beaten, they just confirmed it was Ken who kidnapped.
Ken was nearly dead as he had no escape route even if he was conscious.
“Splatter Clank!!” a villager was thrown away by a hit. No one seemed to care about who was getting hit because they were busy beating Ken.
But everyone around that area was getting thrown apart as the air around the region changed.
In no time, people who had beaten Ken was taken down by Alvon Roger.
“It’s... It’s Roger,” the villagers who were near Vittario.
“Why is beating the people rather than that guy?” they were shocked by him.
Harkey came along with him as all recognized him. He froze by seeing the condition of the house and blood shed all over the place.
Then at the left side, he saw Lucera down with blood coming from her head.
“Lucera, what happened to you? Who did this?” he goes towards her.
“Are you guys mad? Why did you beat these 2 people?” Roger asked the villagers.
“They were the one who kidnapped Vittario’s family and they also beaten Vittario, see” they tried to explain.
“It wasn’t him, you misunderstood everything, but for now treat the injured,” Roger ordered.
Meanwhile, Andrew on the other hand fell down from a giant hole in the forest 20 minutes ago.
He still didn’t wake up as his body was full of injuries as the place where he was looked extremely dark and quite small. This place was 270 meters deep.
Back at the house, “What is that? Why is there so many people?” Galen finally reached the house and then walked into it.
7 minutes crossed, Andrew finally regained his consciousness. “AAhhh, my head hurt a lot, where am I?” he started looking around.
He only saw a light coming from top as he realized that he fell down somewhere.
He searched for his phone, after 2 minutes, he found it.
It was broken, but the flashlight worked, “Thank god, at least this worked,” he felt relieved.
Then he saw writings on the ground, it was faintly thin and half-faded so he wiped out the sand to read it.
“This forest chose you, if you are destined to survive from here, you would gain this power,” It read.
Andrew started digging out the sand to see the words written below, but the words seemed to have erased for some reasons.
1 meter below the unreadable words, “Unleash it, you can’t control it unless you are-” the other phrases were unclear as it was half-faded and half-erased.
“What is this? Forest chose me,” Andrew smirked.
“Gaining power? Unleash what?” he laughed out loud even though his spine hurt a lot, heart pumping way too hard.
“Wait, I can’t get out of here by myself, can I?” he realized it was not the time to laugh and began digging the ground for no reason.
He saw a red dot faintly glowing on the rock in his left side. “What is that?” he walked towards it.
It wasn’t a dot it was like a thread that is attached to a rock.
“It’s not a thread either,” he started pulling out the thread.
The thread came off the rock but it wasn’t just a thread, it was a big crimson colored rope that its edge looked like a thread.
“A rope, what is this place?” he wandered looking around.
He saw a similar looking a piece of thread on the rightmost side.
“Did someone come here and escaped by any chance?” he asked himself.
“This rope seems to have coated with blood, how does this attach to a rock, did someone create this place? or something” he thought for a minute.
Then he decided to throw the rope upwards to see if it was landing at the top.
He was shocked to see it was at a perfect length to land it on the top. He started throwing as he waits for it to be hung up with anything that is stronger.
“If it hung with something like a big rock, I would have a chance of climbing up,” he kept on throwing for over 20 minutes.
After 55 minutes of throwing, he was tired, hungry and his body overwhelmed him as he felt dizzy.
“One more,” he tried and at last his rope was clung onto something.
“Finally, I have to climb up somehow,” He tried climbing up.
He fell down numerous times.
Every time he fell, his wound seemed to increase, his blood was flowing from his head to his eyes as he can’t see clearly.
He wiped out his blood, his spine was about to give up but his determination didn’t.
After several minutes of trying, he finally climbed up.
He was exhausted, his body gave up as he lied down in the middle of the forest.
He didn’t just survive for himself but for the world to be exist in the future.
