Chapter 4- Water Hazzard!

  We made it to the source of the Mutos Portal, which was the local pool, where a gang of Toxic Mermen were spotted!

  Toxic MermenType: BeastATK: 1250DEF: 200SPD: 2000HP: 1300MP: 1200

  Amphibious Mutos Beasts that have evolved to survive on nd and sea, they make up for their low defense with their almost inhuman speed, their cws contain a strange poison that cause halucinations, they are found in groups of 10 or more.

  We tore through the horde with ease but we all knew that they were just the easy ones, the real threat was underwater...

  "You ready Roxy?" a Crocodile Awakened asked.

  I gave her a thumbs up and with that we dove underwater to deal with the real threat.

  When we made it to the portal, things really got ugly!

  We saw Stel and two other Awakened, get their ass kicked by a rger Merman!

  Toxic Merman AlphaType: BeastATK: 2200DEF: 3500SPD: 0HP: 2200MP: 2400

  A stronger version of the Toxic Mermen, sacrificing it's poison cws and it's speed for greater defense, it can unleash deadly sonic attacks capable of shattering bones.

  "Let's waste this sucker!" a Killer Whale Awakened said.

  We surrounded the beast, it tried to use it's sonic scream, but we were able to dodge it, with a snap of my fingers i summoned my Water Clones to deal some damage!

  Overwhelmed, the boss tried to use it's cws but i was able to chop it off with my cws, then with a well timed Water Shot, the boss's head exploded!

  And as the beast died, a rge, golden orb popped out of it's body, i quickly took it.

  "Damn girl, lucky you!" the Crocodile Awakened spoke, "That's an Mid-grade Golden Core, that will help you level up!"

  With the portal closed, we returned to the surface and rejoined the others who were tending to Stel's wounds along with her teamates.

  I said nothing and turned to the Crocodile Awakened, learning that her name was Alice and that she was a Disciple-Rank Awakened as well as one of my cssmates, we shared contact information and i took my leave.

  Before i could, Stel called my name, i turned to face her, "Yes?" i asked.

  "I see you have gotten stronger, i'm willing to take you back if you join my group.." she said.

  "No." i said ftly.

  But Stel was persistant, "How far are you going to get without me, my mother is the richest woman in this city, she provided me with enough resources to break through to Disciple-Rank!"

  "I..don't..care." i said, "I said we were done, and i ment it."

  As i left, the others simply snickered at Stel who was rejected..again...
