  Stitches’ eyes peer through his status menu before resting on one of his stats.

  “You should put them all into constitution, it’s lacking at only 17 and bringing it to 20 would be a big help,” she replies.

  “If you don’t want to get one shot by a tiger rank monster on a hunt then you should probably put some points into constitution,” Stitches replies.

  “You put your points into constitution too I see,” Mateo says scrolling through her stats.

  “Should I put them somewhere else?” Stitches asks.

  “No, having a little more health puts me at ease incase someone gets past our defenses,” Mateo replies.

  “You mean, like Blanco did?”

  Mateo wraps his arms around Stitches’ waist and kisses her on the forehead.

  “Yeah.”

  “It’s ok Mateo, I can take care of myself, you don’t have to worry about me,” Stitches replies rubbing her soft cheek against his bicep.

  “I know, but I love you, maybe more than Natalia,” Mateo says his voice louder than necessary.

  Natalia appears squinting her eyes.

  “Is that so, and who can bring you back to life with her kisses?” Natalia scoffs crossing her arms.

  Stitches giggles, not something she often does and plucks the small pixie out of the sky placing her between her catlike ears.

  “He’s just teasing you Natalia, anyway, we’ve allocated our stats, so what do we do now?” Stitches asks.

  “Now I incur the wrath of lady Everbold,” Mateo replies with a sigh.
