Two large doors open slowly and a robed man peeks through them curiously.
“Can I help you?” The man asks.
“I’m just looking for a bathroom,” Mateo replies.
“I’m sorry sir, but we don’t have any public bathrooms,” the man states.
“What a shame, I guess I’ll just have to shit on your parade then.”
Mateo slams his magic rock into the door, and it splinters sending the man flying into the cathedral. Several other robed men move toward the entrance to the cathedral.
“That entrance was most enticing Just Mateo, I have become wet with desire for your intimacy and feel the need to change my panties, infront of you,” Ana says as her figure moves about obscuring his mini map.
Mateo ignores the lewd image of Ana covering his minimap and enters the cathedral with Stitches. She raises her staff, and he steps over the corpse of the robed man holding up his magic rock threateningly.
“We’re about to send you to the afterlife,” Mateo says with a smug grin.
“We’re already here,” a Hellbent mage replies in a strange accent.
“Good, then I won’t have to send you far,” Mateo replies.
The Hellbent mage shares a glance with his counterpart and they both shrug their shoulders.
“That was kind of lame,” the other Hellbent mage says.
“Yeah, it was,” the first Hellbent mage agrees.
Mateo turns to Stitches who turns her eyes away nervously. Natalia appears on his shoulder chewing violently on some dried meat.
“I didn’t want to appear in this realm, but I am going to confirm that was pretty lame,” Natalia states.
“Oh for fuck sake, just die assholes,” Mateo says tossing his magic rock.
The two Hellbent mages explode into a gory paste splattering over the floor and empty pews of the cathedral. The rock appears in Mateo’s hand once more. Stitches steps forward peering around at Mateo.
“Godsdamnit Mateo, stop obliterating everything!” She yells.
“Sorry, magic rock,” Mateo replies innocently.
Stitches leans down gathering fingers and toes off the floor.
“I guess these will do, you can never have enough fingers and toes, a couple of good testicles would have been nice though, I know plenty of clients that are ready to pay good coin for virile testicles,” Stitches complains.
Mateo ignores her his attention drawn by small whimpers coming from behind the podium. He steps forward moving around it to find a young red skinned fawn holding an ornate dagger.
“Get away from me demon,” the girl yells turning the dagger on him.
Mateo stares at her strangely.
“The Hellbent were going to help me escape this realm and my sick father, but you killed them and ruined that,” she adds.
“Your father is the one who sent me to look for you,” Mateo replies.
“And my mother?”
“Don’t know who that is.”
“Of course you don’t, I suppose this is where you think you’ll take me back to my father,” she replies still brandishing her blade.
Mateo stands his ground sizing up the girl. She’s around five-two, about an inch shorter than stitches. Dark fur covers her legs from mid thigh to her hooved feet. She has the same crimson eyes as her father and long dark hair that flows down to the small of her back. Her top is some kind of scaled tank top displaying her underdeveloped breasts. While her bottom is covered by cotton like shorts that barely cover her ass cheeks.
“My father just wants me to spawn him some grandchildren, I’m not one of his succubi, he can’t just breed me like a whore!” The girl yells.
“Connie, calm down, your father didn’t tell me to bring you to him, he just asked me to tell you he misses you, that’s all,” Mateo says moving closer to her.
She looks up at him her eyes filled with sorrow.
“I don’t want to continue the bloodline with my brother.”

Mateo takes a deep breath letting out a heavy sigh.
“Look kid, I got things I need to do, an army to stop, gods know what else, I’m sorry for your shitty family situation, but I don’t have time for this.”
Connie turns her eyes to the ground and the dagger clanks to the floor as warm tears run over her ruby red cheeks.
“I know, daddy never has time for me either, and mom left a few moons ago, turns out no one loves a little fawn,” Connie says wiping tears from her cheeks with her wrists.
“Mateo, now is the time to prove that you can be the father figure you promise Serenity in the bedroom,” Natalia says appearing above his shoulder.
“I do not promise her that, you know what, fuck it,” he leans down lifting the small fawn into his arms her curled horns digging into his chest, “damn I’m going to regret this.”
Mateo marches over the puddle of gore that is the hellephant with Stitches and they head back toward where they met Lucifer. The mini map being their only guide.
The fire in the sky dims signaling that it is night in the afterlife. The flaming sky dissipates revealing an unpolluted starlit sky. Mateo and stitches set up something that resembles a camp. Connie lies curled in a ball unresponsive for a few hours while Mateo sits with Stitches around a small fire grilling strange smelling meat chunks on sticks.
Connie emerges from her weeping and creeps toward the fire. Her intent ill, she seeks to ambush Mateo, but is cut off by a large ivory snake. It peers up at her with compassionate violet eyes and she leans down running her hand over its scales gently. It’s forked tongue flicks over her wrist tickling her crimson skin and she giggles attracting the attention of Mateo and Stitches.
“Connie, are you hungry, I’ve boardrel sticks and chikus skewers,” Mateo says with a smile.
The feline beast girl keeps her eyes trained on Connie with a distrustful vigilance. The essence of death lingers over her as her heterochromatic eyes follow Connie’s every move. She sees the resemblance in the eyes. One of gold, that of a harpy, and one crimson reptilian eye, that of a lesser dragon. Connie moves closer to Mateo and the feline beast girl grips her staff.
“Is something wrong,” Mateo asks.
“Your friend, she wants to kill me, I can see it in her eyes, the hunger for death, the need to kill, to hunt, to fell prey.”
Mateo pulls Connie into his lap running his fingers through her long dark hair. His blood fizzles and his fingers glow.
Ability activated: Calm.
Connie lies in his lap closing her eyes as Mateo strokes her long dark hair. Natalia appears on his shoulder crossing her arms.
“Hmph, wish you would play with my hair like that.”
“Sorry Natalia, pigeons don’t have hair.”
Stitches lessens her grip on her staff and chuckles.
“I don’t know what I saw in you, of the over eight billion mortals on your planet and I get stuck with you!”
Connie moves in Mateo’s arms nuzzling up against him gently. Her cold red eyes open and she peers up at Natalia her voice heavy with exhaustion.
“It’s probably because he loves you, whenever you appear his heart rate increases and his hormones change,” she turns her gaze to Stitches.
Stitches raises a finger to her lips and Connie lowers her head back into Mateo’s lap.
“Goodnight daddy.”
“Godsdamnit Natalia!” Mateo yells.
Morning breaks, or rather the sky fills with fire again, and they set off to confront Lucifer. Connie is nervous as she approaches her father with the two strangers. Mateo pushes her behind him as Stitches tightens the grip on her staff.
“I see you have brought my daughter, here, remove this dirty pussy from my domain and don’t return until you’re dead,” Lucifer says tossing Tony at him.
Stitches hurries to help Tony to his feet. Mateo steps up to Lucifer, Connie cowering behind him. Tony grunts angrily staring over at the young fawn.
“What do you plan to do with the girl?” Mateo asks.
“With the girl, that’s my daughter, my own flesh and blood, I’ll do as I please with her,” Lucifer answers.
Mateo kicks Lucifer in the nuts and he falls to his knees holding his groin. His glowing red eyes peer up at Mateo as the magic rock appears in his hand.
“You wouldn’t.”
Mateo raises the rock ready to strike, but Connie steps in between him and her father Lucifer.
“Wait, please don’t, he might be evil, but he’s still my father, I’d rather breed with my brother than see him hurt,” Connie cries.
“Breed with your brother, I would never let anyone touch you, who told you I wanted to breed you?” Lucifer coughs still holding his groin.
“Mom said you were going to breed me to keep the bloodline going and that your son would be the best candidate, but I don’t like him, he’s rude and he stinks, and he sucks at tabletop games, I don’t want to have children with a murder hobo!” Connie yells.
Lucifer takes a deep breath recovering from the gut-wrenching nut kick he received from Mateo. Connie rests before him sobbing and crying loudly. He leans down scooping up the small ruby skinned girl with his large claws.
“Shhh, sshhh, it’s ok baby girl, daddy is here,” Lucifer says stroking her dark hair gently.
Stitches and Tony join Mateo as he stares at Lucifer curiously. Lucifer flicks his hand and a portal opens up.
“Unless you want to be witness to a grueling custody battle, I would get the fuck out of my realm with haste,” Lucifer says.
Quest complete: Lucifer’s turmoil. Find the hellbent mortals occupying his realm and end their miserable existence. Additionally, if you encounter a fawn named Connie let her know her daddy is looking for her.
Stitches helps Tony through the portal leaving Mateo standing alone with an ivory snake wrapped around his neck. Rayo keeps a calm composure as Mateo strokes his scaled head.
“What is it, I’ve given you what you want,” Lucifer states.
“What happens to Ana?”
“The AI, she’ll be deleted when you leave this realm,” Lucifer replies.
Natalia appears over Mateo’s shoulder. She crosses her arms angrily.
“You can’t be serious; you want to keep a soulless vessel from the afterlife in your user interface?”
“She’s not soulless, you have something that projects her soul onto the scrolls you give out, give it to me,” Mateo replies.
Lucifer pulls a small glowing crystal from his inventory and tosses it to Mateo. He catches it storing it in his inventory.
Shivering soul crystal has been added to your inventory. This soul crystal contains the companion soul essence of Anastasia Adelaide.
Anastasia Adelaide’s back story has been added to your journal. Your journal cannot be accessed at this time. Return to the realm of the living to access further information on your new companion.
“Are you satisfied?”
“It’ll do, Connie, farewell,” Mateo says waving at her.
She looks up from her tears and gives him a faint smile. Mateo turns his back on Lucifer stepping toward the portal. He stops before stepping through it looking over his shoulder.
“I should warn you Lucifer, that you are on my list.”
“Your list, what list?” He asks.
“The list of gods I’m going to kill when I get strong enough, you’re right there after Dios,” he says vanishing into the portal.
