Honestly, I wasn't totally sure what to do about Thor, or if I should do anything at all.
As per my estimation, Thor's hammer would be nding in New Mexico within about a week.
This was basically my first chance to actually get involved with a hero, an exciting prospect.
But that was easier said than done.
To begin with, I was still way weaker than Thor, Loki and the Destroyer. I had no way of confirming it, but I was almost certain that Conqueror's Haki would have damn near no effect on either of the two gods.
I mean, it made sense, even in One Piece, basic Conqueror's Haki was only used to deal with grunt characters. No, actually powerful character was going to get suppressed by it.
Anyway, it wasn't as if I had to get involved in the fight; even without my intervention, Thor would handle it well enough.
Ignoring the two twin gods, there was also the issue of S.H.I.E.L.D; they were practically everywhere during the events of Thor. Coulson, Barton, the whole setup.
It would be difficult to get around without being noticed by them.
"But, that's me."
I really, really wanted to do something. Partially because I wanted to meet Thor, but also because I wanted to test a certain hypothesis.
Surely, if I made Thor afraid of me, it would provide way more points than me terrorising random grunt criminals.
'Well... once Thor gets thrown down, all he'll be is some random loud blond guy wandering around the desert.'
Even if I didn't extract fear from him, I could always just talk to him and befriend him. In the movie, most of the characters treated him like a lunatic for a good portion of the film, so if I came in believing everything he said, I'd easily worm my way into his good graces.
Having a prince of Asgard as my ally wouldn't be such a bad thing.
"Fuck it. I'll go."
---
Of course, before making my way to New Mexico, I had to get my second ability: the Sharingan.
Today, I pnned on taking on a rger criminal operation. Honestly, it was probably a bit hasty to make a move here, seeing as this was most likely under the control of someone with actual power, but this was the only way for me to get enough fear to buy the Sharingan and make it to New Mexico in time to meet Thor.
I zipped up my gimp mask, making sure it covered my face properly.
I swear, it was the only thing I could find.
Anyway, there were more guards than usual. Eight on the exterior alone, which told me the inside would be considerably busier.
'Good.'
More people meant more fear, and more fear meant more points.
I took a breath, reined in the Haki to its restrained output, and walked straight through the entrance.
The nearest guard turned, opened his mouth.

Full bst.
Thud. Thud. Thud. Thud. Thud. Thud. Thud. Thud.
I stepped over them and pushed through the door.
'Twelve more inside, at least.'
I cracked my knuckles.
"Let's make this quick."
The inside of the garage was exactly as busy as I'd anticipated.
Two floors of operation, with men stationed at every level. Crates, cash, guns, and bricks of cocaine. Basically, the whole setup.
I worked through the ground floor efficiently. Restrained burst, collect the FP, full bst, move on. The formu was second nature at this point.

I was halfway up the stairwell to the second floor when I heard it.
"Wait, wait, hold on."
I stopped.
One of the men on the upper floor had his hands raised, notably not reaching for his weapon. He was noticeably older than the other criminal goons. Judging from his rather expensive looking suit, he was probably the boss of this operation.
"You're the one who's been hitting spots across the city, right?" His voice was steady, but I could see the fear in his eyes. "Everyone's talking about you. The guy who walks in and drops everyone without throwing a punch."
I said nothing.
He swallowed. "My uh, my boss's boss knows about you. A lot of us old guys were told to pass something along if we ever ran into you." He reached slowly into his jacket, producing a small card. "Apparently, he wants to talk."
I stared at the card for a moment.
Then I hit him with the restrained burst.
[You induced fear in 1 individual! +18 FP]
I took the card from his trembling hand before dropping the full bst.
Thud.
I looked at the card. It was almost entirely bnk, cking any kind of name.
There was only a phone number.
But even so, I could guess who it was. Who else would have control of the New York crime world like this?
'Wilson Fisk, the Kingpin.'
---
I eyed the card for a long time.
Honestly, I was surprised by this development.
I knew that I might end up ruffling some feathers with my actions eventually, but I thought that would lead to hitmen coming at my door, something like that.
This, on the other hand, was something entirely different.
'Is he pnning to offer me a job?'
It was an interesting reaction.
This was a slightly younger Fisk, one who hadn't dealt with any of the street-level superheroes like Daredevil or the Punisher.
And regardless, I didn't really give off a very heroic vibe. I wore dumb goofy masks, walked in and knocked everyone out, then left with whatever money I could find. If I were doing this out of a sense of heroism, I'd at least get the police involved.
So I guess his reaction made sense; the losses he had suffered from my actions wouldn't even make a dent in his empire. Rather, he would be much more curious about how exactly I was doing what I was doing.
"Well, honestly, it doesn't matter all that much to me."
I slid the card into my pocket before taking off with as much cash as I could carry.
