Hey everyone, Soul Garden author here!

  You don’t have to read this if you’d rather jump straight into the story, but I wanted to give a little insight into what you can expect from my first novel.

  -What is this story about?

  At its heart, Soul Garden follows the journey of a princess and the knight appointed to protect her. It’s a story about duty, identity, and the bond that forms between two people caught in the light and shadow of a kingdom on the brink.

  -How often do I update?

  Currently, I’m committed to posting 2 or more chapters per day for at least a month. I have a pretty big backlog, and my goal is to stay consistent and keep the story moving forward.

  -About the pacing

  If you read, you’ll notice the story takes its time. There are moments of action and danger, but also plenty of quieter, “day in the life” chapters. I love these slower scenes; they let us breathe with the characters, understand them beyond their titles, and feel at home in their world.

  I want readers to connect deeply with the people and places of to grow attached to them before… well, you’ll see.

  At the end of the day, this isn’t just a tale of kingdoms and battles. It’s a story about people, flawed, hopeful, stubborn, and real. Slowing down lets me show that.

  I love this world, and I really want to tell it right.

  -Multiple Povs

  The story is told through multiple perspectives, with Ariel and Ryn at its heart.

  You’ll see the world through both of their eyes, the princess trapped by expectation, and the knight bound by duty.

  Their thoughts, fears, and quiet moments shape our experience of Solvara. Sometimes they’ll see the same event completely differently, and that’s part of the fun, and the heartbreak.

  -Blessings

  You'd also notice the magic system isn’t spoon-fed or dumped on the reader; it unfolds gradually through character dialogue and inner thoughts. However, I can promise you now that this is one part of the novel that a lot of thought went into. For now, all you need to know is,

  Blessings are divine gifts from Gods, can heal, protect, destroy… but they always take something in return.

  Power here isn’t free — it’s borrowed, and the cost always comes due

  -Romance

  - How many chapters and how long

  About six chapters (roughly 20,000 words) will drop on launch day, so you can really dive into the world right away.

  After that, expect daily uploads for at least the first month while I build momentum. I already have plenty of future chapters outlined and written ahead, so updates will stay consistent as the story unfolds.

  The cover art was drawn by me!

  You can probably tell it’s a bit amateurish (I’m definitely not the best artist), but honestly, I had a lot of fun making it.

  It felt right to create something with my own hands for this story, even if it’s a little rough around the edges.

  I started writing this story because I was inspired by so many others; in fact, I began Soul Garedn a while ago at 3 am after watching a movie (Maquia: When the Promised Flower Blooms, if anyone’s curious).

  It’s not the first story I’ve written, but it is the first I’ve ever shared with the world.
