  “Good good, but Ed has something he’d like to say,” she said angrily. She grabbed him by ear and threw him forward despite his protests

  Midway through he got interrupted by a slap from Yamato upside the head. For a split second I saw the fear of god in his eyes.

  “I’m sorry,” he said flatly

  “I’m sure you are,” I said sarcastically

  “Well let's introduce ourselves, I’m Ruber Lepidus. My ability is all of Gojo’s abilities.” Ruber said quickly

  “My name is Yamato Hiyori, and my ability is I have a ball of plasma that is 1 meter in diameter. I can manipulate its volume and shape down to the atomic level. If any part of my plasma gets extinguished it will take 1 hour to recover 10%”. She said plainly

  “My name is Scindere, and my ability is within a designated area A barrage of slashes equal to the amount of energy imputed. I’m also able to launch single slashes,” I said

  “My name is Edward Judor, my ability is light manipulation, I’m able to summon and manipulate it,” he said with pomp and arrogance.

  “Now that we’ve introduced ourselves, me and yamato have surprise,” he said excitedly

  We followed him to the outside of the PAC. I saw eight equally spaced Surface Landing Space Ship landing pads.

  “The one at the very end is ours,” Ruber said excitedly.

  Ed burst out laughing “surely you must be joking. I don’t know how you called that a Surface Landing Space Ship with a straight face.”

  “What’s wrong with our ship,” Ruber said sadly.

  ‘That' s our ship,’ it’s huge. It looks like one of the apartments from home turned sideways.

  “What’s wrong with our ship, what isn’t wrong with it. It’s minuscule and lacks an observatory,” Ed said angrily.

  “Ed quit yer bitching,” Yamato said decisively.

  “Do we get to keep it,” I asked.

  “We get to keep unless we get a better one,” said Yamato.

  We walked up the ramp that led into the ship. The inside was stunning with a magnificent yellow sofa with a table that had a volumetric display of the planet pulled up. Opposite of the sofa was a small kitchen.

  “That door to the left leads to the dorms with a shower a the end. The door to the right leads to the command room. We’ll be departing shortly as we have our first 4 tier mission”. Yamato said

  She said walking towards the right door. The slid opened, the inside was a stretched half circle. At the center was a large volumetric display that showed the course of the space ship.

  “We need to make our way to the Poliv. It is the planet close to the far side of the star. It seems that a rift has opened, and the locals called us to deal with it. We’ll arrive there in about a half day so for now just make yourselves at home,” Yamato said.

  I’m actually excited to fight some monsters and test out my abilities. Compared to the rest of ours Yamatos ability, it's rather weak. I walked through the main room and made my way to the dorms. I entered my room and found a purple bed, a black nightstand, and a sky blue desk. I laid down and went to sleep.

  I woke up and walked to the main room opposite the sofa was a small kitchen. I went over there and made myself a sandwich. While enjoying my sandwich Ed walked out the dorm's hallway.

  “Fetch me something to eat,” he said grogily.

  “I ain’t your maid,” I responded.

  “How dare you speak to a prince in such a manner," he said angrily.

  “Aren’t you a real prince charming,” I said sarcastically.

  Just then Ruber walked in with his pj’s.

  “It’s too early for you two to be fighting,” he said half awake.

  He walked over and grabbed a packet of fake coffee and poured the cement like powder into a cup of warm water. He then proceeded to stir it up. Ed walked over and repeated what he did. Then immediately spat it out.

  “How can you drink something so horrendous? It’s as though my taste buds have tasted death in the form of a beverage,” he said disgusted.

  The doors to the command center slid open and out stepped Yamato already in her uniform.

  “We make land fall in an hour please dress nicer. Rubey, how many times do I have to tell you to wake up earlier than your students,” Yamato said angrily.

  We went back to our individual dorms and put on our uniform. Our uniforms were these fancy button ups that were navy blue with a tight collar. The buttons were colored gold and the insignia of the Ascended which were eight overlapping circles.

  Yamato was standing hunched over the volumetric display in the command room. We slowly made our way one by one and when Ruber finally entered.

  “Now that everyone is here, we’ve received more intel. The monsters have been quarantined to the bio dome and the connecting corridors. Ed and Scindere you’ll kill the monster and we’ll seal the rift,” she said

  “Before that we’re going to work on your soul contracts,” Ruber said excitedly.

  “Whats that,” I asked.

  “I’m so glad you asked. A soul contract is a contract made with one’s self. For example I have one where If I do finger gun my red will be released with 120% output. It actually doesn’t matter if the contract is fair, what matters is if deep down do you think it’s fair,” Ruber said.

  “Yes, go to your rooms and work them out. I'll call you when we’ve made landfall,” she said.

  I walked back to my room and sat down on my bed.

  ‘I’ll get 120% output and a consecutive barrage of single slashes, but this will require me pointing at a target’.

  I felt in my soul that it was accepted.

  ‘If my entire hand makes contact then I can launch a single slash with 200% output’.

  Again I felt the familiar feeling of acceptance.

  ‘That's probably good enough for now. I'm just going to take a quick nap’. I was abruptly woken up by the PA.

  “We’ve made landfall report to the main room now,” she said.

  I walked over to the main room and saw Ed, Yamato And Ruber already.

  “Alright lets do this,” Yamato said excitedly.
