Like the wishing card was one such example, but besides that, one could always enter the test ground, but only once a month.
Why once a month?
Cuz there one could fight creatures of the same stats as oneself.
Yes, same stats, to the last 0.1 point.
Your and all of your opponents stats would be the same in the test ground, and that makes it appealing.
But of course, the requirement were as stringent as ever too, cuz only one creature could survive in the test ground, and that creature would not only get all the days as the number of creatures in the test, but also one unique reward that tower would choose for it, which would be tailor made and would help the creature go to the higher level and kill much better.
How many creatures would one fight?
That depended upon the type of competition that one had chosen.
It could be 1 vs 100, or 1 vs 1000, or even 1 vs 1,000,000, if one wanted to.
And the more dangerous the competition was, the grander the reward would be.
And according to creatures, tower rewards never disappointed anyone.
So these were all the options, and Mark, in his 30-year time, had explored to the greatest limit.
But nothing could compare to one thing, and maybe it was the most important thing amongst all, and that was Tower’s rules.
Yes, the tower had rules. The tower that only knew one thing, killing, actually had rules.
- Days are the only currency, and they can buy anything and everything.
- Nothing can be sold, bought, exchanged, taken, or stolen from any creature. Everything vanishes with the dead creature.
- Source energy can only be comprehended.
- Once someone has crossed a floor, one can never go back to the previous floors.
- The moment one goes to the higher level, their stat points freeze permanently, and then they can never be changed ever.
- The highest completion of stat points becomes the beginning of the next metamorphosis.
- In Test Ground, only one creature can survive.
- Test Ground can only be entered once a month by any creature, with the exception being the wishing card.
- Killing True Warriors each can grant one wish or a 100-year worth of days, but only to the False Warriors.
- Finishing the tenth level will bring ultimate freedom. One can live till the end of one's lifespan in the safe zone after that.

These were ten tower rules, which could not be broken, and every creature had to abide by them.
No, it was more right to say that no one could go against them, even if one wanted to.
For Mark, only three rules mattered the most.
First, source energy could only be comprehended. Nothing could be worse than this.
Of course, unless he used the wishing card.
According to Ayden, at that time, tower would forcefully put all the comprehension in his brain automatically, saving him years of practice, but for that, he had to win, and kill thousands of creatures who had same stat points as his, which mean, he had to kill thousands of 'True Warriors', and nothing could be worse than that.
Unlike him, who had only lived 30 years in Safety zone, Ayden said there existed enough monsters that had lived more than 9000 years in the second floor with complete 100 stat points in all stat, except one which had 99.9 stat, just like he had when he was in test ground, but they had deliberately left that point remaining so that they could live till the end of their time in the second floor, just like he wanted to with his family.
And most of those monsters had most likely mastered all the 13 elements a long time ago, and by now, all 13 of their elementals must've risen to such an immense level that when they would reach the third floor, they would simply breeze through and enjoy their time even there too.
Maybe they would breeze their way past all the remaining levels, too, if they kept their steady rise like other monsters before them.
Again, humanity may have nothing else in their possession, but they had enough brains, time, willpower, and patience. Especially those who had become ‘True Warrior.
Next was, Killing True Warriors, each could grant one wish or a 100-year worth of days, but only to False Warriors, which would literally make him and the others ‘True Warriors’ the biggest target for all the other warriors.
No doubt, most of the True Warriors were threatening enough to make people lose their minds, but there must be enough maddening warriors who specifically targeted True Warriors. He had no doubt about it.
And he was right too, Ayden had cleared his suspicion and showed him community in the World Messenger, which was specifically made for the gathering of the other nine types of warriors, who liked hunting 'True Warriors' and had enough results to show how dangerous they were.
Yes, you read it right, even Common Warriors were among them. If that wasn't lunacy, then he had no idea what was.
But of course, finding True warriors was easier said than done, and even if one found the true warrior, whether they had struck gold or poison was left to destiny.
And he hated destiny, and he was sure that most of the creatures in this world would be the same as him, so they must possess enough methods to get out of this destiny shit.
How?
He had no idea, but in the world of the tower, what wasn't possible. Even finding which true warrior was weak and where that true warrior was, maybe that was possible too.
And the last point that interested Mark in the tower rules was, the tenth point.
Finishing the tenth level would bring ultimate freedom. One could live till the end of one's lifespan in the safe zone after that.
Which was his and every creatures goal in this world, and he was headstrong to achieve it.
