Chapter- 96 (An Anomaly!)

  Anomaly!

An anomaly in Shukra’s word was someone who had become a ‘True Warrior’ in the test ground.

Such creatures were most dangerous and held the power to destroy races, planets, and much more, and change many things in the tower, which Shukra didn’t want anyone to do.

Such creatures must be killed while they were weak, cuz the moment any one of their elements' control reaches S Grade, killing them would become close to impossible.

By any chance, if that element was one of the three great elements, i.e. Time, Space, and Darkness, then it would become literally impossible.

So killing Mark when he was at his weakest was the right thing to do, but that was easier said than done.

Mark was the user of all three great elements, plus the force element, which made him one of the most difficult creatures to kill.

Now he even got enough meat to increase his stat points to a higher degree for 1st level, and enough days to cultivate his powers further, and he would take full benefit of them and increase his power as much as possible. Anyone in their right mind would do the same, so Shukra didn’t think Mark would be any different, and all that would only make him killing much more difficult.

But even then, it was ready to sacrifice enough to nip the bud before it could grow, especially while Mark was on the second floor.

“You five, increase your elemental powers as much as possible in this time while Mark is hiding, especially Metal. If possible, to the B Grade.” Shukra said, “Aike will help you as much as possible. He will even provide you with enough living creatures to get enough days to increase your Elemental Affinity. Any one element you want by a single level. Plus, I will have fifty dead warriors accompany each and every one of you when the time comes.”

“And remember.” Aike said the moment Shukra stopped, “If Mark is fighting Khatamrata by any chance, then stay hidden, wait for a chance, and go for a kill. Better, if you can kill True Warrior from Khatamrata too, that would be better. And don’t worry about failing even a bit, cuz Mark would make sure to kill you before you can escape from there. So killing him is the only option you have. If by any chance you did escape, congratulations, you will be again sent next time Mark appears to counter him.”

If you spot this story on Amazon, know that it has been stolen. Report the violation.

“Don’t listen to Aike, it’s just trying to frighten you all. Just go and train with all your power. Forget anything else. The moment Mark appears, I will send you all there right away. And if you all succeed, then I promise you a free pass to the 5th floor.” Shukra said as it waved its hand, and hearing it, all five felt their breath quickening.

They knew killing an anomaly was one of the toughest jobs in their line. They had killed True Warriors before and knew how difficult it was to kill them, even those who had just become one.

Not to say, an anomaly who was monsters amongst the monsters, but they were ready, and they were confident in doing so too, cuz their ancestors had done such a thing before too.

They had killed an anomaly and made the world know that the Maukra Race wasn’t a weak race, they thought.

They weren’t someone that all the planet's creatures could come and slaughter to amass days.

No, they were someone who even dared to hunt anomalies, and in the world's eyes, True Warriors.

Cuz according to what they knew, the term anomaly was their king’s self-made term for True Warriors.

They had no idea what made a True Creature an anomaly, but they knew that all the anomalies were powerful and dangerous.

And that was all they needed to know, and they were ready to hunt one just like their ancestors.

Soon, all five warriors left, and Shukra sat back on his seat. “Now we wait for three years.”

“Both for Mark and Khatamrata.” Aike completed its sentence.

  Why three years?

Because that was how many days Mark had amassed after his slaughter. He would first eat meat to increase all of his stats to 10.0, and then would make sure to remain in that stage for as long as possible.

Cuz anyone in their right mind would do the same too. Going to the next stage would be seeking death.

Better if he did that, it wouldn’t mind. No, it would instead clap its hands and send other warriors to hunt Mark.

After Mark was done eating all the meat, he would then start practicing his elements.

Mainly Darkness and Force, cuz Time and Space would only waste his days.

Even with all the comprehension that he would amass by getting new stat points in his Intelligence and Wisdom stats. It still wouldn’t allow him to go more than C level in both of the Elemental Control levels.

Even that, only if he started practicing like a maniac, otherwise, going that far would be a dream.

Of course, unless he possessed more days than truly it knew, and absorbed new Elemental Affinity Stones to increase his elemental affinity, which it doubted would be the case.

Anyway, even if such a thing happened, it was still prepared. Only after taking everything into account did it call the best five members of its races, and it was sure they wouldn’t disappoint it.

But suddenly something happened, which made Shukra rise from its chair, as in anger it slammed its fist on the table, breaking it into dust, “SUCH INSOLENCE!!!”

  “What happened?” Asked Aike.

But instead of replying, Shukra snapped its finger in anger and again made the five members appear.

The next second, it again snapped its finger to make the portal appear, and before anyone could understand what was happening. It threw all five members with its power of wind inside the portal, and closed it.
