Chapter- 50 (Death Impending Danger)

Thousands upon thousands of wolves were created each and every second. They filled all the remaining fourteen islands, and the sky too.

No matter where one moved their sight, all they saw were the wolves. The island became long extinct where there were humans fighting. It had now become a place for fighting between wolves and everyone.

Now, all the monsters were doing was to kill these wolves, who were being created every second, slaughtering them to make more space for themselves.

The same goes for remaining humans, too, whose number had further fallen from 45 to 38, and not even five minutes had passed since everything began.

  Yes, five minutes.

But there still remained 38 living breathing humans in these fourteen islands, not because they were that powerful and had such a strong will, no.

They remained alive simply because no one was interested in them. Not Colby, not Mark, not monsters, no one.

But even then, they were dying one at a time each minute, cuz hiding in place, where there were now wolves and monsters everywhere, was simply not possible.

And coming between Mark’s and Colby’s fight was simply impossible.

That was a fight between two monsters they couldn't even think of competing, but they also weren't ready to accept death, just like that; nobody was.

Especially Mark, so what if all the islands were filled with wolves, so what if Colby couldn't be killed and possessed tens of thousands of bodies?

His aim was simple and very potent, to become stronger. Become so strong that nothing could touch him, nothing could defeat him, and nothing could harm him.

A feast of wolves was in front of him, and he only needed to kill them, and kill them until his agility reached its final stat point. Point where it couldn't be increased, and so he did.

Like a storm, Mark moved, and like pikes, his tails moved, and within seven seconds, he slaughtered two hundred wolves, and the moment that happened, an attack of pain hit him, but this time the pain was different.

It felt to him as if life was slipping out of his body. In the middle of the battle, Mark's seven-foot body suddenly stopped, his darkness-filled tails suddenly stopped, and everything he was doing suddenly stopped.

It was as if time itself had stopped, but the time hadn't stopped, and the battlefield hadn't stopped.

  BOOM! BOOM!! BOOM!!! BOOM!!!! BOOM!!!!!

  BOOM! BOOM!! BOOM!!! BOOM!!!! BOOM!!!!!

Like missiles, all the attacks hit Mark, and like a meteor, he was shot inside the lake.

Lake that was burning hot, lake that could melt even bones, as sizzling Mark's body started melting from outside, but inside, something else was going on.

If you stumble upon this narrative on Amazon, be aware that it has been stolen from Royal Road. Please report it.

Inside Mark's cells were multiplying, and they were multiplying with such horrendous speed that with the speed of the naked eye, his body could be seen slimming down, so much so that the once majestic tiger now nearly looked malnourished.

While from the sky roaring the fire and Ice wolves came, and from the sea, clattering the fishes came, and just when they were about to breathe fire and ice, and eat him alive, he disappeared.

Using his willpower, using the power of his darkness, Mark somehow, anyhow disappeared into the darkness and let the darkness drift him anywhere it could.

While roaring angrily, the fire and ice wolf blasted everything in their sight, covering as much distance as possible to destroy the darkness and to injure Mark, but ended up with no sign of him.

For thirty seconds, the transformation went on, giving Mark the most agonizing pain, as with each second he felt his body slimming down, so much so that now he was left with nothing but a sack of bones, where there was a piece of skin attached to it.

That was the state that Mark was in after his transformation was completed, and the moment that happened, his body came back under his control, while his fear and anger erupted altogether remembering what he had just gone through, and what could've happened if he was just a single second late.

  ROOOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR….

Roaring, he erupted out of the darkness in an endless rage and power, so much so that it created such a horrendous shockwave that it pushed the water of the lake itself aside, creating a crater of water so big that it made the battlefield itself stop in horror.

There stood the king, who looked like nothing but a sack of bones. There was barely any skin on its body, while its eyes were sunken so deeply that it gave chills to anyone who saw them.

While its entire sight looked so horrendous that it left anyone who saw it scared shitless.

Yet the majestic roar that being made, made everyone look at it, and nothing and no one could ignore it.

[Killer gift activated, permanently stealing 0.1*200 Agility Stat.]

[Agility stat point completion hit: 100 points. No other point can be added in this stat until the metamorphosis.]

But ignoring all that, Mark moved, and when he moved, no one realized it. All everyone saw was an empty place, and with a loud boom, the water forcefully filled it up.

But everyone realized what the king did after it had already moved, because one by one, the wolves dead bodies started falling.

And all the dead bodies had one thing in common, that they had no head, as they were all being eaten by the king.

In a second, Mark ate a hundred wolves head, but these kills gave him no agility points, instead, he got vitality points from them.

Never in his dream did he think that wolves could give him another type of stat once his agility stat had filled up, but now he knew, and he also understood what his gift meant when it said that every time a prey died from his hand, a 0.1 stat point would get stolen from their status panel, making him stronger with each kill.

It never meant only one type of stat point, no, it meant all types of stat points, but simply one at a time.

If the wolves couldn't give him agility stat points anymore, they could give him other stat points they had in their status panel, and right now they were giving vitality points.

  Grade: B

Introduction: Born killer, you possess killer instincts. At a glance, you can identify the prey and the predator. Everything used by you becomes a weapon, and you can use it with 100% accuracy, giving you a certain chance to kill your prey instantly.

Passive Ability 1: Stats steal: Every time a prey dies from your hand, a 0.1 stat point gets stolen from their status panel, making you stronger with each kill.

And once again the pain began, but this time the pain was completely bearable, so much so that Mark never stopped.

He let the pain happen, he let the itch all over his body happen, all he focused on was killing and eating the wolves, and getting the proper nutrients that his body deserved.

But there was someone who did not wanted everything that was happening to happen, and that person was Colby, and finally he couldn't control himself and joined the battle.
