All dead!
All the humans were dead!!
Only he and his adversary was alive!!!
Looking at Colby sleeping on top of wolves, Mark had the urge to obliterate the only remaining island and slaughter all the wolves one by one.
But somehow, he controlled that urge and instead looked towards the red shield that had surrounded the island.
It was gigantic, as gigantic as the entire island, which was at the start. So using his power of shadow, he touched the shield, but the moment the power of shadow touched the shield, it was obliterated.
It simply vanished as if the power never existed, but it did, so nodding his head, Mark let the power of his shadow cover the 10 km area inside the sea, to see whether the shield had enveloped the sea too, or only the top.
And the moment he did that, his breath stopped.
There, hidden inside the sea, was a being so big that Mark never thought anything this big could ever exist in this world.
It was twice as big as the remaining island, Island Number 10.
It was red in color, had greenish eyes, and looked like a wolf.
No, it didn't just look like a wolf, it was a wolf.
It was a gigantic wolf, who had the bloody red body as the normal Bloody Wolf, but the powerful physique of a Physical Type Wolf, nimble body of the Agile Type Wolf, and Green eyes of the Fifth Wolf, about whose power he had no idea.
It looked just like the mixture of the three gifted wolves, who had remained on the island, but besides killing the monsters on the island and slashing their bellies, had done nothing else, and died every time any of the islands were destroyed.
And he was sure that they had died. He saw them dying with his eyes, saw them die with the power of his shadow.
They did get melted, they did get eaten by the fishes, and they did feel the pain of their lives before they died.
Yet here they were mixed together and had created such a gigantic body that in front of it, Mark looked nothing but a fly.
If you spot this tale on Amazon, know that it has been stolen. Report the violation.
A fly that could be swatted to death as if it were a nuisance.
For a second, laughter came out of Mark’s mouth, and he laughed out loud, so loud that he felt his belly aching, but no one could hear that laughter, no one could hear its sound.
If by any chance the other humans who had previously died realized that whatever they had fought, whatever they had killed, was nothing but an illusion that Colby had painted for everyone, their souls would cry out tears of blood in hell and heaven.
But it wasn't just them who got fooled by all this fa?ade, he was the same too. He never thought that besides the black and white card, Colby also held the gray card, which was powerful than any card he had ever shown.
And if not because of the shield which had enveloped the island, he would’ve never even thought of checking whether there was something hiding deep inside the sea.
Even though god knows how many times he had gone there to hide, kill, and slaughter other beings.
Heck, that was where he killed the giant wolves again and again and even obliterated one of the islands.
So, forgetting the wolves in the sky, Mark paid his full attention to the wolf who was hiding inside the sea.
He had no idea about its power. He knew it had overwhelming physical power and agility, but he still had no idea what the green eyes meant, what power they exactly carried, or what the gift green-eyed wolf had.
Before, he never cared because it was simply dying left and right like an ant, just like the other two types of wolves, but now he needed to know what power it carried, and there still existed some of the green-eyed wolves on the last remaining island.
So, focusing on both places, Mark researched for as long as he could.
Within the ten minutes of research, he found two things about the giant wolf.
First, its body was emitting a red aura, which was keeping the shadows at bay, deliberately or not, he had no idea.
Second, its physique was so powerful that even the fiery water couldn't do anything to it, even though at all times the wolf had kept its eyes open, which was literally the weakest part of its body, at least, that's what Mark's killer talent told him.
While the green-eyed wolves above, he had no idea what power they carried, as there was no fighting above, so there was no getting killed or using the power.
They were behaving just like the other wolves behaved, slashing their bodies, letting their blood fall, creating more wolves, and filling the island with land-based wolves, as the flying type were kept creating and flying towards the sky to make the giant wolves.
So, closing his eyes, Mark rested and made as many plans as he could to kill the giant wolf and the wolves above.
As finally, when he was done, he looked towards the Butler, who was sitting in the air and yawning, making him roll his eyes.
In his mind, he asked, "What will happen when the clock hits 6?"
As if listening to his mind voice, the butler looked towards him "What else? The only remaining island will be destroyed by me."
Sighing, Mark waved his hand. "And."
Butler paused for a second, as he then replied, "I will further contract the boundary. A 5 Km radius boundary is enough for you two to play around."
Nodding his head, Mark got ready to start his plan, just to hear thousands upon thousands of wolves entering the sea and blasting themselves apart.
If that wasn't enough, the giant wolves came deep down, as deep as four kilometers, to blast themselves and destroy the calmness which the sea had preserved.
