Chapter- 34 (Pitiful Three, Ruthless Mark)

  AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH….

  AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH………

  AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH…….

  AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH…….

  AHHHHHHHH………

Michael screamed and thrashed just like a fish that had been thrown out of the water, gulping for breath, but instead of getting thrown out, Michael was thrown into the water.

The water, which was hotter than flame, burned more than oil; his screams rang so loudly that they made everyone who heard them feel fear burn into their core.

But there were only three people who could hear those screams, who could see that scene, and one of them was Mark, who had no fear, who was doing all this, seeing everything as if he was nothing but a bystander.

But Natalia and Nora weren't the same, they were goner. Their husband/father was struggling, flailing, and screaming like a kid.

Gurgling something incoherently, looking right at them in their eyes, but he had no eyes left to see; they had melted, so his puss and blood-filled eyes were looking where they were looking before, and seeing all this, Natalia and Nora broke.

“Oh Michaellllllll….. my poor husbandddddddd……… my poor Michaellllllll………..”

“Stop it Markkkkkk…… *Sob* take me in his placeeeeee…… burn meeeee…… leave my father alone Markkkkkkkkkkkkk…….. *Sob* leave my ahhhhhhh…… ahhhhhhhhhhhhh……… ahhhhhhhhhh……. Fatherrrrrrrrrr……. Fatherrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr……… Mark, Mark, save my fatherrrrrrrr……. Ahhhhhhh……. Markkkkkkkkkkkk………..”

Crazily, Nora screamed. Furiously, Natalia shook her body to go towards her husband to save him, but nothing they did worked. Mark's black shadowy hands had bound them such that anything they did was for naught.

As they watched the crazy fishes rushing towards Michael. The same fishes that ate Noah till nothing remained. The same fishes that drilled them with endless misery and fury, now they were rushing towards Michael to eat him.

But unlike Noah, Michael was alive, still breathing, still feeling all the pain.

But what happened next only made them go crazier, as they saw Mark pulling Michael forcefully out of the water.

The moment that happened, an unprecedented silence rose in the forest, which the next second turned into horror-filled screams.

Natalia and Nora felt as if they had seen a ghost. Michael's body had half melted, such that even his organs could be seen melted inside.

Blood had poured so much out of his body that gaps could be seen in his body.

His face looked as if someone had come out of hell itself, melted beyond recognition, disgusting anyone who saw the sight.

But Nora and Natalia didn't feel disgust; all they felt was misery, an endless misery.

While Michael didn't even had the energy to scream or beg, he was hung in the air like an animal, someone so close to death's door, but simply not being able to find it.

While his body was twitching and shuddering such in pain that it made Nora and Natalia feel endless grief and agony for him.

But as if a person with no feeling, Mark did not care about all these things, his hands still worked as they had done before, he still behaved like a bystander, as he jerked Michael’s half molten body in the air and took him towards another empty space of the lake, where there were no fishes as his shadow hand extended and dipped Michael in that empty place.

Shocked and in disbelief, both Natalia and Nora looked at this scene, not believing their eyes. It took time for them to register what had just happened, and finally, when understanding of the situation drilled into them, they erupted into misery and struggle.

“LEAVE HIM ALONE MARKKKKKKKKKK……. LEAVE MY HUSBAND ALONEEEEEEEEEE…… DON’T TORTURE HIM ANYMOREEEEEEEE…… DON’T TORTURE HIM ANYMORE MARKKKKKKKKK……….”

  “NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO………. NO MARKKKKKK NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO……… DON’TTTTTTTT……. NOT AGAINNNNN……. NOT MY FATHERRRRRRRR…….. NOT MY FATHERRRRRRRRRRRR………. GODDDDDDDDDD…….”

Screaming, flailing, crying, Nora and Natalia struggled with all their power, but nothing they did worked.

Instead, they saw a scene that filled them with dread to their essence.

The fishes, they were rushing back towards Michael again, and again they saw the scene that made them miserable to their core.

They saw Mark again pulling Michael back out of the water and shoving him into another empty area.

“AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH……. MARKKKKKKKKKKKK………..” Natalia cried as tears after tears fell out of her eyes in misery, while Nora was just goner, she had even forgotten breathing, as she saw Mark pulling her father from one empty place to dip him in another empty place, and do that again and again and again, until there was nothing left.

Nothing left of her father but a bare shell, a human skeleton with nothing on it. No tissue, no muscle, no nothing, just a white shell.

While Natalia was lost in grief. She felt as if in a single moment she had lost everything in her life, and that was the reality; she truly had lost everything. There remained nothing for her in this world, and all of that because of her daughter, all because she felt jealousy and couldn't cope with it.

"Why…….. Whyyyyyyy……… Whyyyyyyyyyyyy…….. Whyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy……" Natalia muttered as she looked at Nora. She couldn't utter any other word, cuz she simply didn't know what to say, what to ask.

Nora, who heard her mother, felt herself choking. She had no answer to give.

Why did she do what she did? Why did she let the emotion called jealousy get the better of her? Why did she let the situation escalate to such a limit? Why did all of this befall their family?

She simply had no idea. She simply didn’t know what monster she was provoking, what monster she was awakening.

But now that everything had happened, now that she knew what the end was going to be, she was going to make Mark miserable.

She was going to make every living second of his life filled with such misery that he would feel it would be better to kill himself than to live even a second more.

So she laughed, and she laughed hysterically, as her crazy laughter filled the forest, making both Mark and Natalia look at her as if she had gone crazy.

And yes, she had gone crazy, so crazy that now nothing really mattered to her.
