50 Followers Milestone Celebration and Art Collection.

Well, I posted it on RR forum, but I think we do need another post solely for us.

Thank you so much for staying with me.

I am not sure how to name this post. It isn’t actually a celebration. Maybe I just feel like writing a testimony to mark a milestone for my story and acknowledge your companionship.

The number looks extremely modest compared to other stories on the platform, but when I look at my niche genre—a combination of psychological contemporary romance with very low fantasy, mostly real magic from nature explained through science (which only appears in Volume 4)—I realize this is the only story with that combination to reach 50 followers.

Since this was the goal I set from the first day of posting this story on RR, I think I need to mark it as an achievement.

I developed detailed character profiles for both Adrian and Mira, each up to 30 pages, based on their personality traits using MBTI (MBTI isn’t an exact personality framework, but it’s the most popular one, so I used it), along with genomics, horoscopes, and blood type to analyze what they would and wouldn’t do.

To be honest, I’m not a fan of traditional romance and can hardly be patient enough to read it because of my weird taste. So you already saw how my couple debate, tease each other, talk about ridiculous things like mushroom snacks and antlions, and discuss emotion control and gene editing at the same serious level.

I love plants and fungi a lot, so you may have spotted some of your favorites or discover new ones. They look like miracles come to life, and that’s the core of this story. Magic exists in our lives and can heal us, just as much as a scientist can believe in fairy tales. The line between science and magic, if you pay attention, is very thin.

I haven’t done any proper marketing for this story, just some silly posts in the “Just for Fun” thread and the Art Forum when I was too excited.

Two of my reviews are from psychologists who are also writers on Royal Road. Another review is from a reader who has now become my friend, and two are from my beta readers. The rest of the ratings are from my readers, so a 4.85 rating is another achievement for me.

The story is AI-assisted for grammar since I’m not a native speaker. I can still notice some AI structure here and there. Please comment and help me improve.

  My next goals are to:

  (1) finish the story—although I’ve technically finished it, when I reread it, the later parts feel too emotionally heavy and I want to rewrite them—and

  (2) to improve the writing in the earlier volumes. The more I write, the more I feel I can do better.

  (3) Adapting their childhood chapter into manga.

I love describing nature scenes. It makes me feel relaxed while writing. I write from imagination, and I hope I can share that feeling with my readers too.

I’ll leave this here as a commitment and motivation to keep going.

My favorite reads include Sherlock Holmes, Ants by Bernard Werber, Anne of Green Gables by L.M. Montgomery, and Tobie Lolness by Timothée de Fombelle.

The narrative has been taken without authorization; if you see it on Amazon, report the incident.

Favorite Manga: HunterxHunter, Liar Game, Monster, Top Secret, Attack on Titan, Eyeshield 21 (well, most of them are shounen), Glass Mask.

I have the tendency to make the story darker and write from Adrian's POV, yet I made it lighter instead (it's good for my insomnia lol.)

Below are the arts I’ve made for the story so far.

Feel free to DM me if you’d like to exchange anything. The happiest thing for me since joining RR has been making new friends.

  Best wishes.

Character Design Sheet. (Art - PixAi, Color: Gemini)

Demo Manga Adaptation. I ended up adapt one chapter (well, the silliest and funniest one, and simple enough to test the Artist's art style)

  Artist: Amaryllis Vermont

Chapter: A date at Unko Museume (Fully finished).

I don't know how to post a full 30-page chapter on Patreon, so I break it into 3 posts.
