Chapter 75: The meeting is over!

After Mother and Papa disappeared, there was the feeling as if something was suddenly missing, and a sense of..mencholy came bearing down.

"Well…that is one way of getting to know yoddess…" Agatha said, trying to soften the mood.

"You already knew how she was," Elizabeth said with a sigh, "No way you didn't get an idea with Mother stuto your head for almost two years now."

And that was the thing, there was no way that this surprised Agatha, if Elizabeth was to guess then more than likely Mother had been trying to get Agatha to stare or stalk ical girls in an attempt to get cute pics.

  Or cute memories…Oh god…

"...Say Agatha…Did Mother ever send you any divine mission…?" Elizabeth asked, unsure if she should just start running before receiving the answer.

"No? She did pin that sending those to her acolytes ended up with weird rituals being itted and some girls being 'Tainted' acc to her," Agatha answered, "She never sent any my way, and I didn't ask…It felt…abusive to ask a divine mission when she was already doing so mue."

  …That was good.

"That is a relief, I 't imagine how that would have ended," Elizabeth sighed in relief, "Never ask her for one, please."

And while Agatha seemed fused for a sed, Rossie's eyes said it all, her smart girlfriend got the meaning in one go.

"... I ask one of those?" Rossie said, summoning the image of the weird tiara that Mother had given her before, "Just to see how that goes…"

Did Elizabeth want to see how that went…?

No. She did not want to.

Did she want Rossie to do whatever Mother wao see doo those girls? Also, no, she hated the mere thought.

  Was she going to refuse…

"...If you really want it, sure." Elizabeth said with a sigh, she ainfully aware that Rossie had certain…Needs, ohat she couldn't fulfill, not till she was of age and a free girl.

But she didn't want to curse her girlfriend because of that, she didn't want to be the reason why her girlfriend suffered, she was not aware of how that was for Rossie, the feeling of insatiable Lust that wasn't being fulfilled.

Well, she ko some degree, thanks to their shared rings. But not how it was nowadays, it ought to be way worse the more they got close to the V-Day.

At the very least, Elizabeth ainfully aware of how it felt to be dominated by Pride and not being able to fulfill the needs, it was so…It felt so…So good, to indulge on it that relinquishing that feeling and discarding it had hurt her to the very Core.

But it was something that was needed for Rossie's mental health.

"Hmm...." Rossie however merely hummed at that answer, "I think I wait a few months before deg if I want to take upon one of those divine missions."

  ...

"We increase our training nights if that ever bees a problem," Rena said from the side.

Training nights? They trained on the....oh....ooooh.

Elizabeth couldn't help but blush a little while Agatha lowered her fad her face was covered by her witch hat; she remained like that for a few seds before showing her face again.

Unlike Elizabeth it seemed that Agatha was better at trolling her facial expressions, that or she was more used than Elizabeth to these kind of situations.

And with Mother inside her face...that was entirely possible, Elizabeth was aware of how thirsty her Mother could get, so she didn't even want to imagine what kind of types Mother pined, fantasied or even said to the older woman.

The horror....of imagining what her Mother whispered into Agatha's ears.

"And done, please let's focus on what you three came here for. Now that your parents are gone." Agatha said after tering herself back. "You are now aware of what to think when dealing with the [ars]. Do you want to know something else?"

Yes, Elizabeth wao know many things, namely what the deal was with the remaining force she was going to face.

"Should I even worry about the Student cil if I o deal with the [Gaxidae] and [The ars]?" Elizabeth said turning to Agatha, "I am aware that Evangeline is a Gaxidae and that the other members have some retion with them, but my inal pn was to seek them out ahe answers out of them."

Elizabeth liked that pn, not because she wao get revenge on Selen Dawnstrike for being mildly annoying and b Rossie...And also not helping Rena.

  No sir.

"Well, that is more plicated than you think." Agatha said turning pensive for a sed. "Evangeline IS a Gaxidae that is true, but she is not quite a [Gaxidae], not yet anyway."

How could someone be a Gaxidae but not a [Gaxidae]? Was having Mother stu her head made her dumb?

"How so?" Rossie asked from the side.

"She is in a spot simir to you Rossaline," Agatha said suddenly, "Your Mother Lizbeth Singh sued to be a Gaxidae, so that means you in turn could be seen as a Gaxidae but not a [Gaxidae]."

"That is not the same, I ted into the Singh family. Never in my life have I ied with the Gaxidae." Rossie answered narrowing her eyes, "How could we be simir?"

Agatha shook her head, "That's the thing. Evangeline holds the oo, but the fact that she is with the public proves that she isn't a [Gaxidae], not yet at least."

"...Are they recluses or something?" Rena suddenly said, "Like those [Monks] who don't i with the world."

"I did say that they are closer to [Cultist] than anything," Agatha answered, "That is probably the more easy way to see them."

So..."What does that mean then?" Elizabeth asked.

"Evangeline has some ideas of what is happening within the Gaxidae, and some tacts since she is quite...Talented acc trowth as a [Hero] and the skills and titles she holds," Agatha said nodding her head.

Elizabeth waited a few seds to see what the deal with her was, but the older witever eborated.

"So? What is her deal? I know she had a [Servant of Akasha] title, but besides that I am not sure what her skills did." Elizabeth decided to ask.

"I 't firm nor deny that information," Agatha answered as such with a shrug, "Part of the limits pced upon the principal of a school is to keep the abilities both skills and magic of their students secret."

  ...Well, that sounded like bullshit.

"Didn't the previous leaders know of what Akira was doing?" Rena asked from the side, "And they also knew about my skills too."

ht, that was a thing, Elizabeth o deal with them too.

"They were also bound by the tract with the school. So while they khey couldn't tell outsiders, what they could do however, was use that information for her own profit. Such as what they had po sponsor Akira as a [The Warden of Justice], that was why they were keeping all under s." Agatha nodded answering the question, "Of course that meant that they actively made it hard for us to help Rena and the other victims of Akira's abuse."

Yeah, more and more reasons to deal with them, and no reason to keep them alive...or keep their breathing privileges.

"What happeo them by the way," Elizabeth ended up asking, "For no particur reason whatsoever."

She would send a couple shadons there, perhaps end up a portal a some of her less known minions deal with them. That way, they would have no way of linking it to Elizabeth. That or open a portal to Terra Nexus and deal with them there. No body, no crime.

  "They are dead," Agatha answered.

Oh, that made it easier; now, she would only o go to-

"Wait what? What happeo them? Weren't they powerful?" Elizabeth asked, fused, "They should be more resilient. How could they all end up dead?"

"Mana poisoning." Agatha answered, "Most of the people who got bathed in your mana without any defense ended up dead, it was the same here and... well in Germania."

  ....right.

She had bsted everyoh her full undiluted mana when fighting against Akira... She did notice how some barriers were raised to protee people as they ran away, but she didn't quite focus on who got protected...and who didn't.

"Yeah, I didn't have much leeway to protect everyone." Agatha said nodding her head, "And to be ho everytime I tried to raise a barrier for them it felt as if the strain would be too much, besides...nothing of value was lost."

...So it had been Agatha the oo raise the barriers huh.

"Also, I like to think that it was for the better. To be ho, it surprised me the fact that your mana was that poisonous." The older witch said, "It didn't seem like that to me, but that may be because I use your Mother's mana as one of her acolytes."

Elizabeth also that, that indeed made sense, how could her mana be posionus to someone who was close to her, or used maan from one of her parents. No, wait, did that mean that Agatha was immuo her spells?

"It also bears to notice that uhem, I didn't have hostile thoughts against you," Agatha nodded her head, "But really, to be a teacher and be so btantly antagonist against one of their charges, they were failures of a teacher anyway."

Elizabeth almost choked at that mention.

"What? You don't o feel bad for them; any teacher worth their lise would know that no matter the background of the student, they are to be taught equally." Agatha said, somewhat fused at Elizabeth's rea, "Sihey bared their fangs against a student, it's only fair that the studealiates; they are lucky that your Mother didn't cat them; their deaths would have been more pitiful."

Elizabeth was not sure about that. Wasn't someone orbiting the sun right now because of her parents' shenanigans? If anything, they may be still alive.

"Yeah, no. I wasn't regretting their fate." Elizabeth said after almost choking on the irony of what Agatha said, "Also, if I had to guess, Mother did have something to do with their deaths."

Elizabeth could imagine her Mother messing up with the mana around them to make it harder for them to defend or using it to actively poison them better. She had asded as a goddess reted to magic after all. So, ces were that she had full reign i Zaanam. And if that was the case... There was no saving them.

But no, that was not the important part.

"So leaving them aside," Elizabeth said once more, "Should we deal with the student cil or not?"

  That was the important part.

"I 't tell you what information they have or if they will help you, that is against my vow." Agatha answered, once more the same thing, "But I would suggest you to give it a try. They may be willing to help you..."

"Or we deal with them here where the Gaxidae has no way of ag up," Rossie said from the side.

"...Please do not destroy my school I just got it." Agatha joked from the side. "But before that, you three o deal with other things first."

What else did they have to deal with?

They got the information on the [Gaxidae], they were cultists and madmen. They got the information on most of the [ars], they were a crazed bunch with more power than they should have.

But then again, Jenna art of them, so that was besides the point, really the only one dangerous seemed to be tied to the infernal rift that spat giant monsters. So uhey wao risk losing his home try, that would not be an issue.

Both the [Warlock] and [Prophet] were summoypes, so if Elizabeth mao do something to seal their ability to call upon otherworldy summons...Like...cim ownership of the space surrounding them.

Yes, Elizabeth could already see her way to victory!

"You o talk with your masters for this year. Or what is remaining of this year anyway." Agatha said, summoning three folders and handing each girl one. "Your paperwork is already mostly done, but you do hem to sign it."

Elizabeth took hers and read it, it had most of her data and her current shift. [The Stardust Weaver], at the page was the data on her Master. In this case, [The Juggernaut].

"Once agai me state this, I have no idea how you mao pull this. But while having an S-Tier master does give you some leeway, you do heir seal of approval. Well, getting them to accept you means that you already have it, but even so, you do o work with them." Agatha said to Elizabeth.

Then turning to Rena and Rossie, "Same applies to both of you, even if they accept having a more loose retionship with both of you." Loose retionship?

"What do you mean?" Elizabeth asked fused, "Is there a problem with [The Tinkerer] and [The Sniper]?"

"Well, not much of a problem. But because of their work as a member of [The hey do have more leeway in how they do their job, in this case [The Tinkerer] applied to have her studeaken under someone else to her, instead of her ing here." Agatha said sighing, then turning to Elizabeth she added " Same applies to you Elizabeth, even if [The Juggernaut] isn't a member of [The Nine] he does have enough power to ask for the same leeway. Sht now only [The Sniper] and [The Juggernaut]'s secretary are here. At least officially."

"Right...The ohat came for me is Jenna, my legal guardian..." Elizabeth remembered what Agatha had told her before.

"...Yes, not [The Juggernaut] but yal guardian Jenna Lewis." Agatha said as if the words would bee true like that.

"So, should we go there now then?" Elizabeth asked.

"Please, and try to not destroy my school." Agatha said snapping her fingers and after a sed the door opened. With it, the sound of some wards breaking could be heard, "I mean it. I just got it."

Elizabeth almost felt insulted. Almost, because to be ho...she did had po destroy some parts of it.

"I'll do my best, and if a fight does end up happening, I'll attempt to teleport us to an isoted barrier or something." Elizabeth knew for a fact that Aura had some spells like that, so in theory Elizabeth should have access to some spells in that nature.

"Here, it's from my hidden stash." Agatha said, giving Elizabeth a leather-bound journal, "There are some spells with barriers, isoted barriers, teleportation spells, and some emergency relocation spells that pierce the wards of the school."

  Fancy things all around.

"Thank you," Elizabeth said, pocketing the journal for ter perusal, "For everything, and if you ever need some time without Mother pestering you, do call us."

Elizabeth then willed some of her mana to leave her shadow, "This little one will make sure to tell us." Leaving a small shadon with Agatha.

At this point the witch was almost part of the family after all. Besides...who knew what kind of information Elizabeth could gleam by having one of her Shadons with Agatha 24/7.
