Elizabeth’s life choices could be summed up in many ways: reckless, stupid, idiotic, smart (not really), and worthy of her appearance. However, what she had decided after she spoke with her minions could be one of the smartest decisions she ever made.

  How so? Easy, she decided to do several things at once.

  Number one: She resisted the temptation of using her shadows to get a sense of what was happening ient. She was sure that she would be greatly tempted by the temptress she was sharing the tent with if she did such a thing.

  So she cut out that sense from the start, she did, however, made sure to record the sensory memory of her shadows for ter peruse of course.

  hree: She made sure to and her lungs a to move at a steady pace. It wouldn’t do for her to start hyperventiting at the sweet smell of her girlfriend’s sweat and…other things.

  With that done, she resurfaced from within her [Soulscape] upon her body. As soon as she returned, she felt the multiple sensations embedded within her flesh, where Rossie had touched, the pces Rena kissed…

  EVERYTHING.

  “Did….hggg…. Elizabeth …. hmmmnnurn already?” Rena said between ragged breath.

  “Good, Beatrice did fill us when we woke up this m. She said everything had been resolved peacefully. But that our itinerary may be somewhat rocky after we finish dealing with [Shadow Pact].” Rossie said arg her eyebrow at Elizabeth.

  “Yeah, that is one way to look at it.” Elizabeth smiled at her girlfriend’s cute jealousy while standing up. “We have many things to prepare before dealing with that, and it may end up being more messy than dealing with [Shadow Pact].”

  That was an uatement if anything. The fact that the [Gaxidae] had mao do what they did made them dangerous, way more dangerous than anyone else, if they had done what they did tinald to a human….what would happen?

  Of course, no one else moved or said anything. So Elizabeth stood up and walked towards the red-haired girl, pg her face straight into her chest in a big hug.

  “No one will ever pin about how you sleep, okay, Rena?” Elizabeth said while cursing Akira more, even though she khe i wasn’t alive in any measure of the form, since his body had been recycled already, his soul probably had burst at the seams since she hadn’t found any remnant of it. “No one, okay?   Elizabeth only knew how to separate three of those, so she would need some practice finding the [Spirit], but anything for Rena.

  “Okay girls, that is enough about that.” Elizabeth said using her magiitate the sound of a pair of hands g(She couldn’t use her hands at the moment since she was busy hugging Rena). “While it is good to see you two having a more normal talk, we do o prepare.”

  “Wait what? How could I eat it if the food is on Rossie or Rena?” Elizabeth asked, fbbergasted; what was this purple girl going on about?

  “Oh, that is easy.” Aura answered with a vicious smile, “I just found out about this weird niche some ultra rich have, they serve food upon the naked bodies of other people a straight up from their body. You know how it is, they serve food upon their stomad eat while grabbing it with their hands… they spread cream or dressing upon the breasts and so you o dip your food there….or they may pour your drink upon their mouth, so to take a sip you o take a sip from them.”

  “I DON’T KNOW!!! I DIDN’T EVEN KNOW THE GIRL WHEN SHE WAS ALIVE!” Elizabeth screamed about the injustices of the world.

  At worst she was in love with her murderer, but e on… Rossie had apologized for that!

  She had right?

  Elizabeth had the vague impression that Rossie was sorry…

  No? She hadn’t?

  Oh…. Could it be that?

  But Aura didn’t seem to tease Rossie that much…or at all… Actually, hadn’t she only teased her?

  Did Aura…love Elizabeth? And was angry because she hadn’t done anything to her?

  No, that couldn’t be. Aura had said that she didn’t like Elizabeth, she did say that if Elizabeth wao make a move on her she would leave the [Shadow Haven] that oime right?

  But that she hadn’t done because she trusted Elizabeth not to abuse her powers… Even now, Elizabeth didn’t think she could twist someone’s mind, not even her minions. She just… didn’t get the impression that it was something she was able to do.

  Either way… It was time to eat!

  “Let’s… let’s just eat…like civilized humans.” Elizabeth sighed as she separated herself from the triple hug they had going.

  However, she would not point out that the most human being within a kilometer of that table was Aura. And she wasn’t even human anymore…
