Chapter 8: Crazy Dice
Inside the transparent gss cup, three dice were jumping around like mischievous elves. No one could predict the outcome.
After a few seconds, the three dice gradually stopped.
The results showed: 5 points, 3 points, 2 points, the total was 10 points, which was "small" again.
Luke wins again.
"Hmph, you're a lucky dwarf."
Luke heard the two pyers on the other side snort in dissatisfaction. He was only one point away from a big number, but he was one point short and still hit a small number. They all thought Luke was just lucky.
Before the new round began, the white muscur man among the three pyers grinned and said to Luke fiercely, "The goddess of luck won't favor you anymore, dwarf." He obviously did not believe Luke could win next time.
Luke didn't say anything. Under the Iron Man mask was an extremely childish face. He pouted his lips.
The white muscur man pced a heavy bet this time, putting in five golden chips. One golden chip represented 1,000.
The muscur man bet on the big number. In his opinion, the previous few times the numbers were small, so the probability of a big number this time was very high.
Luke still bet on small.
The other two people who had the same idea as the white man also pced their chips on "big". Seeing that Luke was still stubbornly betting on small, the three of them looked sarcastic, thinking Luke was a typical amateur and were waiting to see him get humiliated.
The dealer said "Bet it and leave," and the dice started jumping again.
A few seconds ter, the three guys who bet on "big," including the white man, all opened their eyes wide in disbelief, looking as if a fly had been eaten.
The result was "small" again: 1 point, 1 point, 2 points, ridiculously small.
The dealer pushed over a dozen chips, all in front of Luke. Luke accepted them with a smile. Under the mask, he gnced at the white muscur man and sneered. He said in a low and hoarse voice, "Sorry. It seems that my luck is really good tonight."
"Damn dwarf." The muscur man gritted his teeth in anger.
"Fuck!" said Ross, who had been pretending to be a decoration on Luke's shoulder.
The muscur man stared at Luke coldly. The voice came from Luke, so he naturally thought it was Luke who said it. There was a hint of ruthlessness in the muscur man's eyes.
In the next few rounds, Luke fully demonstrated what it means to be lucky.
He bet on "small" three times and "big" once, and all four times he won!
Gradually, even the dealer showed an incredible expression on his face. It was extremely rare for someone to win consecutive bets like Luke.
However, neither the dealers nor the gamblers knew at this moment that all this was just the beginning.
As Luke continued to win money, more and more people began to stop and watch around the dice table.
And every time Luke won the bet, the surrounding gamblers would excim in surprise and express incredible admiration.
Luke bet on "small" again.
The number "small" had come out seven times in a row before. From the perspective of statistical probability, the chance of "small" coming out again was very, very small. Therefore, other pyers around them all bet on "big".
There were now more than three people at this gambling table. There were already more than a dozen pyers at this dice table.
After pcing their bets, these people's attention was not on their bets. Winning or losing didn't seem to matter anymore. They just wanted to see if Luke could continue to win this round and remain undefeated.
"Everyone, pce your bets before you go." The dealer ughed dryly with a twitching mouth.
The dice started to jump.
Everyone's eyes were fixed on the three dice without blinking, and some people were holding their breath. As the dice slowly stopped, the air around the gambling table seemed to have solidified.
"Wow——" a cry of surprise rang out.
It’s smaller again, and Luke got it right again!
"OH, MY~GOD!" Some white and bck people shook their heads in disbelief. This result should not happen in terms of probability. However, the number "small" came out eight times in a row, which is probably harder than winning the first prize in the lottery.
Some people began to question the dealer, asking if the machine was broken. After checking, the dealer said that there was no problem with the machine. However, at the strong request of some gamblers, the dealer asked the casino for instructions and had a new dice cup delivered.
It was not for any other reason, but because the eight consecutive "small" numbers appeared and Luke won all of them, which deeply stimuted these people.
As time went by, more and more people gathered around the gambling table, making it so crowded that no one could get through. Even after repcing the new dice cup, Luke still remained undefeated.
The excmations around gradually turned into cheers. The cheers continued one after another, attracting more curious gamblers to come over to find out what was going on, and then join in this incredible carnival!
Luke pced all the chips in his hand on "big". After a brief thought, he let go.
Just now, “Small” had appeared five times in a row, and Luke felt that the probability of another “Small” appearing was too low, so he changed his bet to “Big”.
The results came out quickly.
6 points, 5 points, 6 points, the points were very big! Just 1 point away, the dealer would win. However, just with this 1 point away, Luke won this round again.
Some old gamblers saw Luke winning money continuously and almost never losing. They were so excited as if they had seen God, and kept exciming “Oh, MyGod!”
The area around the gambling table was filled with the excmations of men and the screams of women. In less than half an hour, there was already a mountain of chips of various colors in front of Luke!
A rge group of people gathered behind Luke, including tattooed men, drunkards, and gamblers. These people have become Luke's loyal fans!
The God of Gamblers has descended on Hell's Kitchen tonight, and it is destined to be a boiling pce tonight!
I don't know when, the pyers at the table all started to follow Luke's lead in betting. These people have learned to be smart. Luke is obviously possessed by the god of gambling tonight, and these people also want to have a few sips of soup.
Luke bet on "big", and these people also bet on "big". Luke bet on "small", and these people also followed suit and bet on "small". None of them hesitated.
So, after a few rounds, the dealer on the opposite side started to wipe his cold sweat, with big beads of sweat pouring out of his forehead.
The rules of Sic Bo are actually in favor of the dealer. The dealer wins when 1 or 18 points are counted, and the dealer wins when the three dice have the same number of points.
Theoretically speaking, the banker can basically make a profit without losing.
But tonight, something weird happened.
This dealer had worked in various casinos for many years, but this was the first time he had ever encountered such a situation. Later, every time Luke pced a bet, the dealer's heart would tremble a few times...
Seeing that everyone around him was following Luke's lead in pcing bets, the dealer didn't know what to do at this moment. If everyone pyed like this, could they still be friends in the future?
Wiping the sweat from his forehead, he quietly pressed the button under the table and asked for help from his superiors in the casino.
The gamble continues.
At this moment, almost half of the gamblers in the entire casino gathered around the dice table to watch Luke's gambling. I believe that before tomorrow morning, what happened here will spread throughout Hell's Kitchen and become a casino legend that everyone will recite!
This time, Luke directly bet on the dice.
If he wins, it will be 150 to 1. This time he simply bet 100 chips. If it is multiplied by 150, the casino will lose 15,000.
The dealer looked like he was about to cry…
