Chapter 91

"I don't want to leave things like this. I don't want him to have it. It is stolen. Since you aren't willing to help me, I will do so myself." Meng Yiran told her Grandfather before turning around. "Tang San...would you have a test with me?"

Tang San frowned, and Tang Yin growled at her words. She stepped forward and blocked Meng Yirans path.

"He is injured," Tang Yin stated cooly. "No honorable person would ask for a test against him while he is in this state. If you want a fight, I'll take you." She grabbed her sword tighter and poi to Meng Yiran, her grandparents stepping closer to her as Yin silently said.

  I dare you.

"You are nothing but a little brat." Meng Yiran said, eyeing her disdainfully, ign the risen sword.

"I am his older twin sister," Yin hissed, the air arouurning meanang. "I more than have the right to fight for him and in his stead," she gred at the taller Meng Yiran.

"Yin." Tang San interrupted her worry in his voice. "You are injured. I will do it."

"No, " she hissed at him, this time truly Angry. You aren't even in a state where you should be moving. Sit down there! Let me hahis. I am in a far better state, and don't fet." She gred at Meng Yiran. "There is no way in this world I would lose to this e here."

"This, whatever you call her, is older and more experiehan you." Dai Mubai stepped up o her. "I'd say we first listen to what kind of test she wants, and then you two duke it out who does it."

"Who says I will accept this imp here." Meng Yiran Yin. "As my oppo? I probably surpass her easily enough."

"She is his Twin sister," Dai Mubai said and then gazed at Meng Yiran. "Going against her is going against him, and the other way around. There is no reason for you not to accept. Not really."

Meng Yirans gaze wandered betweewo of them. "You don't look like twins." Ihey didn't not look like twins anymore. Their size differeheir differen clothing and look made them appear like older and younger sibling, or maybe cousins.

"Yeah, guess what. Now stakes? and what do you want to pete in?" Yin asked impatiently.

"If I win, he 't absorb that spirit ring over there." She said. "if you win. He ."

"Alright. But let me add something. If I win, you won't be in our way again."

"Deal." Meng Yiran agreed. "Since I doubt you match me in terms of spirit power."

Tang Yin was about to tell the irl where to shove her opinion when her body reminded her. Sometimes, it was better not to object; she was, in fact, still being anything but out of spirit power injured. A direct frontation against Meng Yiran, even with a spirit Ring, was currently not a stelr idea.

Meng Yiran raised her hand, and the pale jade ring on her finger shimmered faintly underh the light. She then held a bag and showed Tang Yin a colle of sharp bdes. Tang Yin mustered them. She was not her brother, but she did know her way around knives better than the vast majority.

  These were throwing knives.

Very good at throwing koo. Her eyes reized the sheen oal from the preetals Tang Hao occasionally worked with. But, no matter how many leaves are hit, the knives have to end up in a tree trunk. Those that don't hit the tree don't t."

"These are thirty-six Spirit Cleaving Knifes. You and I will each have eighteen. Grandfather will shake a tree about twenty meters away, making the leaves fall. We both start at the same time, throwing the khe one pierg the most tree leaves wins."

Meng Yiran decred fidently how they would pete. Then she cast a hard gaze at the entire group from Shrek Academy, who all did their best to keep a straight expression.

Zhao Wuji stared at her as if he needed a sed to prehend her words. Dai Mubai stared at the knives and only at the knives as if trying to ighe rest.

Oscar covered his mouth with both hands.

Ma Honjun looked at Tang Yin and then dared to ask. "Are you anywhere near your brother?" He asked her, and she tilted her head silently, saying with a long look.

  What do you think?

Theaggered and almost toppled over. Even Zhu Zhuqings, who is usually cool and close to expressionless, showed a stunned expression.

Ning Feled on the ground, clearly giving off an atmosphere I would enjoy seeing.

  Ning R giggled.

Tang Yin only smiled, quite dazzling, as she sheathed her sword.

Meng Yiran, seeing the expressions of the Shrek students, clearly knew she was being mocked and revealed a strained and angry expression as she fumed. "And do you dare?" she asked Tang Yin.

"Are you all fools? Or don't you dare take up the challenge?"

Oscar suddenly couldn't hold back his ughter, telling Men Yiran, "We take it. How could we possibly dee that challenge? Wait, let us raise the stakes even. If you lose, not only will you o stay out of our way, but you will have to kiss Tang Yin, alright?"

Meng Yiran blushed and flinched back. "What?" she souterly fbbergasted. Tang Yin, meanwhile, only showed a dry expression.

"She is not my Type..." she then noted.

"Your type is Jiang, and we all know that." Dai Mubai suddenly announced. "But hey. I really wanhat. Two girls..."

"I dare you to finish that senteh my sister in it," Tang San said and gred at Dai Mubai, who quickly shut his mouth. He had long realized Tang San was good for having the most fun at the expense of others, even at his own expense, especially when it was ing from people he sidered friends, but only as long as it did not involve his Tang Yin or Xiao Wu.

Meng Yiran, still unsure of what this was about, decided to ighe group's strange behavior and focus on Tang Yin.

"Are you doing it or not, or will you pin I am bullying you?"

"No way, I will. As long as you don't say I bullied you when I am done." She took eighteen of the knives and hat they were unfortable. They were not her size, ky even in her hands, which were small. She stretched her wrist and tried to figure out how to grab them best.

After a few trial throws, Meng Yiran watched her now even keener, seeing her expertly throw and catch the knives with a slight of the hand, betraying that she did indeed know what she was doing with throwing knives and was by no means going to be an easy oppo.

Then Meng Yiran poi a tree approximately twenty meters from her side. "That is out, Target."

  Tang Yin nodded.

  "Fine."

The knives in Yiran's hands soon had red silk ribbons hanging from them, and Tang Yins were marked with blue silk ribbons.
