Rabbit Knight leaped up and Sprite fluttered to Yvlena's side rubbing her eyes with a tiny fist. The fairy yawned, still groggy from the short nap.

The walk from the town back to the Verdant Woods was shorter now that Yvlena khe path well. She stooped down to examihe few bits of green peaking through the dry soil on the Verdant Wood's path.
"It's healing," Yvlena said in awe, "Selendriel must have given Bloom Haven some kind of blessing, the area always seems to recover so quickly,"

"Huh, looks like I called it," Yvlena said, lifting herself off the ground. She thought about Selendriel as she walked with her summons, passing the faded sign that poiowards the dire of the Verdant Lake.
"She's one half of the twin gods of Bloom Haven but I don't think I've heard much about Vaelindor, he doesn't seem to get much attention,"
Yvlehe prickle of eyes on her as she walked, she jumped around just in time to watch a boar careen out of the woods. She noticed the signs of corruption as it ran towards her party.
It squealed loudly, dark vapor oozing with every step it took. The madness in its eyes let Yvlena know a head on attack was ining, the boar was not as cautious as the wolf or even the Lesser miasmic beast and instead chose to run head first into danger.
Yvlena noticed the red patches littering its body, an already injured beast would be easier to kill, it had burst out of the Miasma stairees, burning itself with the liquid rolling down the branches.
She drew her sword, blog the boar's collision head on but taking some damage in the process. The creature struggled against her, smming it's head against her bde repeatedly in an attempt to shatter it.
Unknown to it, the Carrot Sword was made of steruff and would not shatter so easily.
Yvlena wrested herself away from the beast, while her summons attacked.

Yvlena watched the sap melt through the creature's skiing through the flesh and bone.
"Oh my God," she said, holding her hand over her mouth in shock, the bave a final squeal before it was dispatched by the fluid.
It fell, fading away in fkes of light.

Out of the er of her eye, something moved, she spun to see a rge webbed hand covered in water weeds pull itself bato the water with a loud spsh.
Whatever was ier had to have been expeg her. Yvlena grimaced, knots of fear formed iomach as she and her summons ran past the bed ke.

The Avaresh S greeted them with the smell of damp rot wafting through the humid air. Out of sight, creatures swam withier waiting to attack or for Yvlena to fish them out for her potion.
"Gathering ingredients for this particur potion is not going to be fun," Yvlena said. Her foot pressed against the wet soil barely keeping her afloat. The Revista did a great job simuting the squelch as she delved into the s.
The dorsal fin of a small, ugly S Fish was already rising to the water's surface the moment her boot touched the water. Yvlena drew her sword, and stabbed the water she saw the creature sink into. The S Fish stilled and at os short existence came to an abrupt end.

Rabbit Knight acted first, notig the first of the S Fish leap out. He skewered them with his sword, ing his summoner another kill. The rest of the creatures were not cowed and barred their teeth at the Rabbit before attag.

"Ah! There's too many of them, we have to make it to the docks!" she said, Rabbit Knight nodded, following his summoner's lead, and rushed towards the wooden structure.
Yvlena hopped on first, reag out to grab the rabbit just as a S Fish's jaw could cmp down on his fluffy tail.
Yvlena stabbed it, finishing it off.

She pulled her sword back as the st of the S Fish faded away into nothing. Yvlena didn't know when the rest of them would arrive but she swung her feet over the edge of the docks and attempted to pull in the closest Avaresh Lotus.
Her fingers only brushed the green Lotus pad and with Sprite's help, she pulled it closer to herself and lifted it out of the water. It was heavier than she expected, with rge waterlogged roots and the Lotus pad big enough to carry a person.
