Transtor: der Transtions
--------
As soon as Jiang g finished speaking, the Fatty felt that everyone's gaze towards him suddenly ged, especially Liang Long, the rock climber, who deliberately distanced herself from him.
"It seems Brother Hao and Brother Chubby know each other," Ran raised his eyebrows and said naturally, "Are you together?"
Jiang g nodded, "That's right."
Su Xiaoxiao and Ran both focused their attention on Jiang g’s face, clearly curious about him.
At this point, although the Fatty hadn't done anything remarkable, he didn't seem like someoh intellectual disabilities.
Could it be that his dition is itent?
Liang Long, who had pulled away, was the Fatty from head to toe, as if iing some strange species.
However, her attention was quickly diverted to Jiang g. Not just her, everyone else was staring at him with a rather strange look.
Jiang g’s self-introdu had opeheir eyes.
High-end, lead performer, night events, tips, private rooms... especially the bination of artistid physical skills, as well as things that were only allowed to be broadcast with sorship, were all proudly stated by Jiang g.
With Jiang g stirring things up, the fear of the mission that had been in the air before seemed to dissipate signifitly.
After calming down, everyone was now both hungry and tired.
They had been in this world for most of the day, and they hadn't had a meal, not even a sip of water.
"Let's rest early," Ran said, "I'll take the first shift, and then..."
"Add one more person," Jiang g said eagerly, "Double shifts. The situation here is too plicated. We don’t want to lose someone again by tomorrow m."
Even now, no one knew where the motorcycle girl had gone or what had happeo her, but the likelihood was grim.
Ran thought for a moment, then nodded. He sed the group and finally stopped his gaze on Jiang g, smiling and saying, "Then I'll trouble Brother Hao to join me for the first shift."
Uedly, Jiang g responded, "I won't take the first shift," he said. "I’m different from you guys. I ehe mission when I was w. Now, my physical strength is severely depleted, and I need rest."
Ran's pupils tracted slightly. After a few seds, he shifted his gaze to the Fatty.
Before he could speak, Jiang g yelled, "This chubby guy isn’t reliable."
Simirly, Liang Long also rejected Ran’s request to team up, g the same excuse: tired.
Now only Su Xiaoxiao, who had remained silent, and her obedient brother Su An were left.
It was clear that Ran wasn’t keen on teaming up with these two, and his expression revealed a sense of being forced into the situation.
"Then please take good care of Miss Su," Ran said finally.
The Fatty, who was leaning against the wall, was woken up for the shift ge. Jiang g, ed in his clothes, fortably curled up in the er of the wall. Uhe flickering firelight, Jiang g’s half-open eyes revealed a special aura.
Liang Long, who aired with them, sat oher side, keeping her distahe earlier behavior of the Fatty and Jiang g had fused her, so she had no iion of further engaging with them.
The Fatty leaned in and whispered to Jiang g, "Is that guy named Ran problematic?"
"Mm."
The Fatty gowards Ran's position and found him lying in the shadow where the light didn’t reach. He could only make out a rough outline and couldn’t tell if he was asleep.
Swallowing, the Fatty withdrew his gaze and tinued, "I think everyone doesn’t really like him. That Liang Long seems to have heard of him, but I don’t know what she heard."
"But I’m sure it wasn’t good," the Fatty paused. "Otherwise, it wouldn’t be like this. I feel like Liang Long is a bit scared of him."
The Fatty uood the saying "good news never leaves the door, but bad news spreads far and wide," especially in a nightmare world where things could devour you whole.
It was clear that Ran must have done something in the nightmare world that left a deep impression on his teammates who survived with him.
The Fatty lowered his voice further, "I know why you suggested two-person teams. It's to supervise each other and prevent anyone from secretly sabotaging the others."
"And I also uand why you paired Su Xiaoxiao and Ran together, because she’s not an ordinary persht?" The Fatty became more excited, feeling like he was beginning to follow Jiang g’s reasoning.
"Just by looking at her, you tell she’s done a lot of hard work, but what’s more impressive is that she ma an intellectually disabled person like her brother into a mission and still survive. That’s..."
"So what?" Jiang g sneered, "I could take you on a mission too!"
The Fatty: "Doctor, saying things like that makes it easy to lose friends."
"Those things you mentioned are only part of the reason," Jiang g sat up seriously, draping his clothes over his back. "The main reason has to do with this pce itself."
"Doctor, what do you mean?"
"Where did that woman disappear from?" Jiang g asked.
"Here."
"Be more specific."
"In this room... no, this lighthouse," the Fatty quickly corrected himself.
Jiang g shook his head. "I don’t think so."
"Did you figure something out?" The Fatty swallowed nervously, gng around to ensure no one aying attentiohen quietly asked, "Doctor?"
Jiang g leaned against the wall, squinting his eyes as he slowly said, "I’m not sure yet. I’ll tell you when I figure it out."
"Okay."
"Fatty."
The Fatty froze. He thought Jiang g had ged his mind and was about to share his thoughts, so he eagerly said, "Do ahead, I’m listening!"
Jiang g g another er where a twisted figure was curled up. "Be careful of that old woman."
He paused, and unusually tinued, "If we get separated, don’t go near her. Don’t believe anything she says."
