Never a single day went by where ‘Angel’s horseboys’ were starved for content. Julie pnned everything so well that when a video didn’t come out, photoshoot pictures were posted on Instantgram. And if no social media account was updated, then she threw little bits and pieces in the fan group for them to munch on, like backstage pictures, videos of Cyrielle in her everyday life, making of for MyTube’s recent videos…

  It was the same that day. When the fans discovered that there was a new message posted by Julie, they clicked enthusiastically.

  I know you love our angel very much, and there have been a lot of inquiries concerning merch. I think we should make the official position of the Angel-Minet agency clear concerning this matter.

  Every fan is free to create and sell their own merch of Mademoiselle Cyrielle, as long as it is done in reduced quantities. We will take legal actions against any business who tries to make a profit off of Mademoiselle Cyrielle by using an industrialised manufacturing process, so be warned.   It didn’t take long for the hashtag #AngelFanartByHorseboy to go trending on any social media, especially Bluebird. Julie was smiling.

  “That’s done ! It should occupy them for a while. How are you doing, baby ?”

  “I want to throw everything away.”

  Cyrielle was facing another big crisis. The day prior, they had received a call from ‘Femme Frenchie’, a fashion magazine with a long history. Cyrielle was to be on the cover of next month’s issue, and they had made sure to send Julie everything she needed to prepare, including the concept and moodboard. The instructions were simple, Cyrielle was to show her personality using clothes she usually wore and everyday makeup. But it was easier said than done, because Femme Frenchie had a precise idea of the feeling they wanted to convey, hence the moodboard.

  Because of that, Cyrielle was taking out all her clothes and checking them one by one, trying to match the expectations as much as possible. She would need to bring a few spares, just in case an outfit isn’t approved, but having several looks matching only one mood board was proving to be a challenge. She would either need to modify her clothes, or make new ones. In a week, and without a sewing machine. It was a nightmare.

  Hopefully, every picture she had sent to the editor-in-chief was approved, and it only took her 5 days to have a suitcase ready for her trip to Paris. In the remaining two days, she had another interior design video to film.

  While they were driving to the house of the person that would appear in the recording, Cyrielle discreetly called Path of Destiny.

  Cyrielle had succeeded in evolving the ability, having experienced it with ‘singing’ was a big help. She still had a bit of trouble with it, bringing the ability out and using it wasn’t as instinctive as ‘singing’, but she couldn’t do anything about it. After all, it was not an ability she often used in its entirety. She may design outfits regurly, but it was not the case for homes. So even if she knew her fashion designs were good enough to be worn on runways, it was difficult to judge what difference it would make in home decor. She couldn’t just change Julie’s apartment everyday, and buying new furniture cost way more than fabric and thread.

  Fortunately, the person she was going to visit today was a fan of hers with quite a bit of money, and had set apart two days to take care of this interior design video. She could try her ability as much as she wanted, and could even use the allocated budget to buy furniture. It was a perfect opportunity.

  After meeting up in front of the house and discussing the pns for the recording, they started filming and Cyrielle activated the ‘Home and Attire design’ ability. The difference was astounding.

  ‘I can see clearly everything we should change, and can provide pns within the budget limit. I can even point out pces that need fixing and use ‘Handicraft’ to know everything I can do myself and what I will need help with. It’s not home design anymore, it’s home renovation !’

  Cyrielle immediately started expining her pns to the owner, who was looking at her with sparkly eyes and nodding to every word, drawing in her sketchbook to further develop her ideas.

  ‘No, but isn’t this too good ? I was surprised at first when I saw that sketching was part of the capacity, but my drawings are so good ! Of course, it’s only limited to fashion and interior design, but I could totally go professional with that level of skills ! If I succeed in using the capacity without the ability, will I be able to learn ‘drawing’ ? I’m so excited !’

  The recording went well, and they finished in the two days allocated, transforming a neglected home into a designer vil with the furniture they had bought or fixed. Cyrielle and Julie were now on a train to Paris, with three huge suitcases that they had trouble shoving on the baggage shelves.

  “I can’t believe it’s your birthday tomorrow… I’m sad we can’t celebrate it again this year. It seems we are always working at this time of the year…”

  Cyrielle nodded silently, looking out the window. She didn’t show it, but she was really excited inside.

  ‘I can’t believe we are going to Paris ! I mean, it’s only a two hour TGV ride away, but still it’s so cool ! But will I be okay with the photoshoot ? There will be lots of famous people, it’s making me nervous…’

  Still, she wasn’t as anxious as she thought she would be. Cyrielle had gained a bit of self confidence after she received her second MyTube paycheck in the morning. And most of all, her channel was growing steadily.

  She didn’t post as many videos, but the number of views and subscribers was overwhelming. Because of that, her income from january that she just received was astounding. Three times the monthly minimum wage, if you also included the fee for the concert. It had taken quite a while to settle into her bank account, since it first went through Julie who deducted her pay, but it was enormous for Cyrielle.

  Julie had already left her job as a cashier, and was now a full time talent agency CEO and manager. It gave her the motivation to try even harder, and she had successfully negotiated for the magazine Femme Frenchie to pay for their transport and accommodation. It would probably be a basic hotel room, but Cyrielle was already excited.

  ‘I’ll have a room for myself ! And a bed ! I can’t even imagine how it will feel… Julie will go to sign some papers and discuss details tomorrow, but I can stay in bed, right ?’

  As much as Cyrielle was anxious, the perspective of sleeping in a real bed was more than enough to wash away her nerves.

  ‘I just need to model for a day, and in exchange I can sleep on a bed ? Bring it on !’
